Chateau de la Messardiere is outstanding in every sense of the word. When you enter the gates and travel on the road, lined with beautful flowers, up to the hotel you are in for a real treat. The location of the hotel on the highest point between the village of Saint Tropez and the beaches of Pampelonne is superb and the views, in every direction, absolutely stunning. The location is breath taking. We are frequent visitors to Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc and love it, but we feel Chateau de la Messardiere brings it up even a notch higher. The rooms are beautiful. We had a junior suite with a private terrace overlooking the Bay of Saint Tropez. The personalized amenities(like a silk pyjama, a beach bag, a straw hat and a monogrammed notebook) added to the experience. Our first evening we started at the 1904 Bar enjoying great champagne and sipping in the atmosphere. Live entertainment accompanied our drinks as other guests arrived, all dressed up Riviera chic for the evening. We then dined at Matsuhisa the Japanese restaurant where the menu is created by Le Chef Nobu. Amazing views over the beaches of Pamplonne. The food is delicious and accompanied with an extensive excellent wine list. One highligt of the dinner was when our son got served his coke in a crystal carafe - very stylish! Both breakfast and lunch is a real experience at Chateau de la Messardiere. Both are buffet style but with extremely high quality. There is so much delicious, fresh and well presented food to choose from. We normally don´t like buffets but this is something else. Our days we spent relaxing by the lap pool enjoying a glass of ice cold rose' under the pine and olive trees. The late afternoon we spent at the wonderful Spa getting a relaxing massage. We only had two nights here this time and did not have time to experience all the hotel has to offer but we will definitely be back next summer for a full week.

Excellent hotel, highly recommend staying here with almost nothing really negative to say about it. Lovely place to stay, great location, excellent quality and very nice staff. Pool is a bit too cold, needs to be a bit warmer ideally. Scrambled eggs seemed to be in short supply at breakfast, but you can ask them to get some and they'll sort it out eventually. Classic room is small, so recommend upgrading up to a bigger one. Would go back again for sure.

Saint Tropez didn't book a room. I could only find a hotel that was a little closer. The hotel was on a hillside. At night, there was a self-driving camp at the foot of the mountain.

I bought a Wonderbox ” Gourmand Today ” at € 250 or it was not mentioned that it was out of July and out of weekend ( due to marriage in your establishment ****t ) I was refused every Friday of September , I just got back on Friday 13 October and finally wonder a availability .....but only the room without food because the restaurant closes at the end of September ! I sincerely believe that Wonderboxes do not interest you, and in this case we need to tell us and get off gift boxes; Before looking for another more comprehensible establishment*****t; Because I really had a heartbeat for yours; I submit you a new date any Friday room no more meal!! This hotel was nothing short of amazing! First Anne-Catherine and Laurent were both so nice and helpful and really made us feel welcomed. I’m addition, we received great recommendations for where to eat and what to do. The hotel is small and is located in the Port which does not allow cars. They did a great job of giving directions prior to arrival on what to do. If you are coming by car, they have 3 spaces at the hotel for €25 a day but these are subject to availability. If those are full or you want something cheaper, they will give you information on the parking they provide outside of the port. We were given a choice of rooms as it was off season but honestly I don’t think there is a bad room in the place. The ones we saw and the one we ended up staying in were both modern and fairly good sized and all had unique views. We opted not to have the hotel breakfast but it looked fantastic with a variety of fruit, pastry and omelette options in addition to coffee. The Wi-Fi worked well and they also provided us with beach towels so we could take advantage of the beach. If I ever come back to Port Grimaud I would not hesitate to stay here again!

We just spent 2 days at Villa Marie and from the moment we pulled up the attentive and super friendly staff made us feels so welcome. The concierge booked our dinners and did a great job, the shuttle that took us back and forth from town, about a 10 minute drive came immediately when we called making this super convenient. For the price this is a super value that I highly recommend. Even the cleaning staff left our rooms spotless with extra care to turn on the heated tile floors in bathroom and adjusting the air. Breakfast that was included was just as lovely. We had stayed here 10 years ago and it was just as wonderful. I don’t know how they hire such a super staff who go out of their way to make your stay perfect!
