The Salem Inn

Breakfast was by reservation. You picked a time and picked from a list of options. Very easy to use online. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We did have a small issue with parking as there are several homes with parking in the rear. We went to the main house and the staff was able to direct us to where we needed to be. Within walking distance of many things Salem had to offer. Very happy with this property highly recommend.

This is a charming inn with two different old houses. It’s well located and has a fabulous breakfast that’s included. Two things I would say for house we were in. One, there is no indoor sitting area. Our room, while quite large, had only a small love seat and the common area was not decorated to accommodate sitting. So having indoor drinks before dinner wasn’t really a good option. There is a very nice patio for outdoor relaxing. The bigger issue was the ice maker. It is LOUD and it went off at irregular intervals during two of our three nights. Apparently it is supposed to be turned off at night but it wasn’t. It was impossible to sleep through. Otherwise, we had good service and a nice stay

Traveled with 92 yo parent and the staff was able to accommodate us nicely. This is an older hotel so there is no elevator,which we knew prior to booking. We were able to negotiate the stairs fine as the staff put us on the main floor. The breakfast was made to order and was delicious. We would definitely stay here again

Adorable property in a great location! We were able to walk everywhere in downtown Salem. The staff was great and breakfast was good. Unique place to stay that matches the vibe of Salem itself. Very quiet place and I slept better than I have in a long time. Also got to relax with a bath in the claw-foot tub. AMAZING! Highly recommend this property!

Location was great and easy to get to and from. The historical charm added to the pleasant environment. This was much like a great bed and breakfast. Would really love to be here for Halloween. Breakfast was good along with choices.

I have been staying at the Salem Inn for the past 15 years. The rooms are super well kept and the staff are always super nice. The best part is the location! We can park our car in the driveway and everything is walking distance. I cant recommend this establishment enough

Salem Inn was a beautiful old building with a lot of charm and character. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice and friendly and the parking was off property but very close. The complimentary breakfast was nice, simple but good. The staff were great. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

Clean room, breakfast was made to order and don’t miss out on the New England coffee Witch’s Mix blend! With available parking at the hotel we walked to the museums, restaurants and other attractions as Salem is very walkable. Great long weekend destination.
