Located at the top of Big Cottonwood Canyon, we are about .01 mile from the base of Brighton Ski Resort and .05 miles up-canyon from Solitude Ski Resort. We have easy, year round access. It’s off the main Big Cottonwood Canyon road. Our cabin is situated up-canyon from the Guardsman Pass road; in the summer months this provides direct access over the Wasatch ridge to the Park City & Deer Valley! There is plenty to do from our doorstep without ever getting in your car: Biking, hiking, explore Silver Lake Nature area, and of course skiing in the winter months! Main Level: *Master bedroom with King bed: sleeps 2. Master bedroom overlooks the beautiful private behind our cabin. *Great Room, 2 large leather sofas next to gorgeous new custom Limestone high output fireplace with Walnut mantle. This is visible from the kitchen and dining areas. *Main Level Kitchen (new appliances) shares a vaulted exposed wood beam ceiling with the dining and living rooms, that is open to the upper level & mezzanine. *Dining area, bench style seating with chairs at table heads. Seats 8-10. *Bar area, seats 4 on full-grain leather barstools. Bar is adjacent to the dining area. *Full bathroom with tub / shower. (entry is off the hallway, not through a bedroom) *Mudroom with hanging storage for wet gear, plenty of games, camp chairs, hot tub towels, extra pantry storage, Dysom handheld vacuum wand. Upper Level: 2 private bed rooms overlooking the forest & back deck with Hot Tub. *Bunk-room: 1 Queen Bed + Twin bed, sleeps 3 *Queen suite: sleeps 2. Lower Level: *Lower Level Full Kitchen. Fully stocked with place settings for 10 with matching dishes, glasses, flatware, etc. *Family Bunk-room, 3 twin beds ,+ 1 full bed: Sleeps 4-5. Located 13.7 miles up Big Cottonwood Canyon, we have easy year-round access. Once at the cabin, you can walk or bike over over to Molly Green's Pub or grab a burger at the Milly Chalet at Brighton Ski Resort. There are plenty of things to do when your legs are worn out! Brighton Ski Resort and the Solitude Nordic Center are a short walk across the base of the Brighton “loop” road; 3-5 min walk from our front door. You won't find a better experience, better hosts & a better location for your group! Brighton Ski Resort: Solitude Ski Resort: Silver Lake Nordic Center: IMPORTANT DISCLOSURE: Absolutely NO DOGS ALLOWED. Not only is it illegal to have dogs in Big Cottonwood Canyon due to watershed and forest service regulations but the owners of this property have a serious pet allergy that prohibits animals of any kind. If staff or neighbors report the presence of dogs/ animals of any kind, the guests will have to be ask to vacate and pay for additional sanitizing. We apologize for such strict precautions. Events, weddings, large gatherings, or accommodating more than the designated number of people a booked property is advertised to sleep is not permissible at any time during your stay. 12 persons max occupancy. We do charge additional fee per guest over 8 people so please be accurate with your guest count. Next to Brighton great communications We had an amazing time at Brighton resort, our first time, and this cabin suited us well. Plenty of room for our family of 5, fantastic hot tub, well-stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. It snowed like crazy while we were there and a snowplow knocked a rock into our rental car's windshield. The owner's were incredibly helpful, connecting us with a SafeLite in the area and communicating consistently to ensure we were all set. Even the SafeLite guy was a blessing. Overall, a wonderful community, super fun family mountain and the snow was incredible.

We thought about never leaving You know those stories about renters who just refuse to leave, frustrating landlords to no end? We almost became one of those. The house was perfect for our family of 5. Emily was great on the communication side and Alex was there everyday clearing snow (and there was lots of it). Nothing to do with the house but Brighton is fantastic too. Usually we rotate and go somewhere new each winter but this house could very possibly end that transience and bring us back for a repeat!

Great mountain retreat! Our family had a great stay at this really cool property. The location is perfect for a ski vacation - so close to Brighton. The hot tub was great and the house is very well supplied with everything you need. The hosts were very helpful and responsive. We would love to come back!

family ski trip This house was amazing-- extremely clean, organized and uncluttered. More beds than we needed for a family of 5. 2 kitchens available. Hosts were very attentive. House was cozy and even had a Christmas tree. Hot tub was clean and very large. There is a shuttle to the resort but the walk is about 8 min. We found it easier to have one person drop off and pick up everyone and equipment, and then that person could just walk to the car. We stayed across from lift last year, but this house is much nicer and we would return to this one instead in the future.

Great place for a group Very comfortable, pretty location. It was useful having the two kitchens, as we used both ovens and dishwashers to feed a large group. We enjoyed the hot tub and had several moose that slept in the back yard. We hope to stay there again.
