Aram Yami Hotel

Wonderful hotel, super wonderful staff! We took the room with the ocean view which was great. No elevator though. The location of the hotel is also perfect, in my view. It’s not in the middle of the noisy and crowded old city, but still a trendy beautiful street, endless dining options. Walking distance to the old city. Safe atmosphere

A beautiful space with such a helpful staff . Wouldn’t change a thing. We had a room with large windows facing the street and it was still very quiet and peaceful . The pool and the breakfast space had a gorgeous view of the bay. Very safe and secure . I’ll be back next year.

Our stay was brilliant. Bruno and his whole team were outstanding. They were incredibly helpful and also a lot of fun. I can highly recommend staying at Aran yami. The hotel by the way is beautiful as are the views. Breakfast on the balcony overlooking the sea each morning was a great way to start the morning.

The hotel itself and especially the service is amazing, rooms are very large and the panorama room was absolutely great. Can’t praise the front desk staff enough. The pool was great, we had a larger group and had the upper common pool to ourselves, there is a lower pool that is private to the one suite on the first level. The food was also great!

The place was gorgeous with a lot of attention to design and details. The staff was very helpful, knowledgeable, and provided excellent service. The breakfast was delicious . The location was in the historic center with plenty of restaurants and bars in the area.

Aram Yami is not your typical hotel - it's a tiny but mighty property in a great neighborhood with exceptional staff who anticipate your every need (from arranging drivers to/from the airport to giving us great advice about the city to helping us use the city's famed elevator). We also can't say enough good things about the women who made our breakfast each morning. It was the best breakfast we had in Brazil in our 10 days here -- and well beyond! Our favorites included local tapioca delicacies, fresh and beautifully cut fruit, and lemon mousse. Even the omelette was prepared perfectly. The property itself is small and funky, designed with an artistic eye. Bravo to all!

Amazing hotel!!! I highly recommend. Its very safe and the staff treats you like family. Beautifully designed. Breakfast was great every morning and they also brought us lovely fruit plates to be enjoyed poolside. Loved every moment. Also arranged airport transport for us.

This hotel is an absolute gem. Don’t hesitate to book it! Pictures actually don’t do it justice. It’s a very charming well decorated hotel with “good vibes”. Firstly, the customer service is superb. We stayed in 5* hotels as we traveled through Brazil and this hotel had the best customer service. So warm and caring. They arranged everything for us. Took such good care of us. I truly appreciate it! The breakfasts were superb - fresh, delicious, with a lot of variety. Amazing coffee. A la cart menu as well as buffet items. We chose the gran suite room because it was big enough for an extra bed for our kid and it was such an amazing room!! The best part was the “Harry Potter” inspired entryway with fun walls, lights etc. our kid absolutely loved it and so did we! The room itself was huge and so well decorated. Comfortable beds, AC, balcony, everything you need really. We loved it so much that we decided to book the room again when we came back from staying on a nearby island, even though we were originally eyeing a different hotel. I also loved the location because it’s central but also at the end of a street so it’s quiet and peaceful. Stay here. You won’t regret. There wasn’t anything to fault with the Aram Yami hotel. The staff are absolutely incredible - attentive, informative and knowledgeable. The morning breakfast was superb - thank you to the kitchen staff who were always smiling! We chose the Bahia Suite which was perfect. Super large, comfortable bed with soft pillows, great A/C, separate shower and toilet and a wonderful view out to the pool. The pool area had stunning views across the bay. Complimentary drink and fruits on arrival. Wish we had more time here. Next time!
