SHOHIZINDA HOTEL

The SHOHIZINDA HOTEL looks quite new, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The only minor downsides are that the hot water takes a bit long to heat up and the water pressure isn't very strong, but it's manageable if you're patient. The hotel's location is excellent, right across from the Shah-i-Zinda Necropolis. You can head out early around 7 AM to avoid the crowds, visit the site, and then come back to the hotel for breakfast – it's perfect! It's also not far from the Bibi-Khanym Mosque and the Grand Bazaar, about a kilometer away, so you can easily walk there. The breakfast offers a good variety and was to my liking.

I highly DO NOT recommend this hotel! Besides being new and having a comfortable mattress, there are no other advantages. The shower area floods, and the replacement towels were damp! I booked this hotel because it was close to Shahi Zinda, stayed for two nights, and paid $156, which wasn't cheap. It's not within walking distance of any other attractions! The breakfast was very simple and not tasty; they even used instant coffee powder, and although there was bread, there was no toaster! The most disappointing thing was the unprofessional staff. Except for one person, everyone else had a sullen expression, didn't greet guests proactively, and acted as if asking a question was a bother. There are much better and more affordable hotels near Registan. I really regret choosing this one!

The SHOHIZINDA HOTEL is conveniently located directly opposite the Shah-i-Zinda necropolis, making it easy to get around. It's also very convenient to get to Registan Square. Breakfast is mainly Western-style and filling. The facilities are comprehensive; it would be perfect if the shower water pressure were a bit stronger. This is my top choice for a travel hotel. Worth staying again.

Promise me, don't hesitate, just go for SHOHIZINDA HOTEL. It's definitely the best choice in Samarkand. The rooms are clean and hygienic, and the location is directly opposite the Shah-i-Zinda necropolis. You can see the views of Shah-i-Zinda from your window both day and night. It's very convenient for both the airport and the train station, and there's a bus stop right outside. A taxi to the city center is only about 20,000 som. The breakfast is also very rich, with desserts, coffee, and a variety of fresh fruits. The front desk staff and waiters are very enthusiastic and all speak excellent English. I hope I'll have the chance to visit again.

The room was fantastic. Clean and tidy, with a spotless bathroom. The bed was incredibly comfortable. It's super close to the scenic spots, within walking distance, and very convenient to get to the airport since it's nearby.

Great location, right in front of Shah-i-Zinda, and only a 20-30 minute walk to Registan Square. The facilities are excellent as it's a new building. However, being a new building, there were some minor issues with insulation, and a bit of noise since it's next to a main road. Breakfast was a bit sparse, which might be due to the off-peak season with fewer guests. But the service from the owner and staff was exceptionally good. They accommodated my request to switch rooms, and even offered free drop-offs for nearby destinations. On my last day, since I was leaving early, they packed a lunch box for me. This hotel truly puts in a lot of effort.

The hotel is directly opposite Shah-i-Zinda, which makes it super convenient to visit the site early in the morning. The hotel facilities are good, and the breakfast spread is excellent. It's about a 10-minute taxi ride to Registan Square.

First time in Samarkand, and after comparing with other hotels, this one really stood out. It's located right across from the must-see Zinda Mausoleum. The soundproofing is exceptional – it was the quietest hotel I stayed at during my trip. The cleanliness was superb, and they were very thoughtful with the housekeeping during my extended stay. Everything felt modern. I'll definitely come back if I visit again! Oh, and the breakfast was delicious, haha 😁
