Hotel Caravan Serail

Very good experience overall. Everything was a 10/10 during my stay. The room was comfortable, the staff were very friendly, and the facilities were well maintained. The breakfast was tasty and offered enough variety to start the day. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.

Location of the address is inaccurate. Taxis tend to stop at opposite the road. Signage is very small. Need to pay attention to see the blue signage. I like to quietness and quaintness of this hotel, but bathroom facilities wise, it not fulfilling the basic needs of a traveller because of the shower facility. Otherwise, Environment is good, i like especially the outdoor seating space at ground floor. The hot water in the bathroom is very inconsistent. Water flow is very low from the shower head. Sometimes water get very hot and almost burnt my skin many times. Bathroom is very cramp very difficult to get even a proper shower. The staff did their best they can to clean up the place, fix the shower head and offer good service. But the facilities of the shower room needs proper maintenance and servicing, inconsistent hot water supply is frustrating.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The location was perfect, and only a 10 minute walk to registan square. The room was really spacious which we enjoyed, and was very clean! The staff were super friendly and helpful, however the only issue was when we did our laundry they told us it would be ready that afternoon as we were checking out the next morning, but it wasn’t and we ended up having to take wet laundry to our next destination (which we still had to pay for!). The breakfast was nice, and it was lovely to sit outside at the tables and drink tea

I’m sorry I really wanted to give you guys a good rating. The hosts are very friendly and nice, location is good BUT. 1. You advertise yourself as Free WiFi zone in your signage but your WiFi doesn’t work. You said you will fix it but you didn’t. 2. Because of this I used up all my data and at 4am in the morning I had to go to the lobby to get an emergency eSIM. 3. The shower is ridiculously tiny and the angle is so high only a person who is 1.8m or higher can shower properly. The hot water is so sensitive it is either cold or scalding hot. 4. In the morning there was a dripping sound on top of my room that woke me up. It sounded like someone knocking from 4am for 3 hours straight. 5. My room did not have toilet tissues and I had to request for it. It’s a great location and the lobby looks nice. But it’s the whole experience people need for a good stay. It will take a lot of work and investment but this hotel can be a great hotel if the owners are willing to properly fix it up. Not just cosmetically. Good luck

The staff are very polite and helpful. Their breakfast has a balanced selection. It's enjoyable to sit in the garden and have the evening tea. The hotel is located in the centre so it is easy to walk to Rigestan.

This hotel is a gem! The location is perfect for sightseeing, as most major landmarks are within an easy walking distance. The atmosphere is lovely, especially in the warmer seasons. The breakfast was satisfying, and we felt truly looked after by the attentive team. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Samarkand and suggest others do the same!
