My wife and I visited Restaurant Strandlyst in June on a beautiful summer evening. Stephanie our hostess - gave us a warm welcome and a great table outside overlooking the pool and green fields. I had read a review in Børsen Weekend about Chef Mia Christiansen so our expectations were high. After a glass of champagne we ordered a three course menu with turbot as main dish. Everything was perfect. The beautiful and perfect cooked turbot was decorated with colorful, small flowers and accompanied by a sauce made with roasted sunflower seeds and beer. It was Outstanding- the best turbot ever. Chef Mia came and said hello and we complemented her cooking. The team at Strandlyst, the setting and the food was so good that we reserved a table for the next evening and went back and had the same menu. Again perfect. Both evenings were outstanding and we will be back 😀 We are foodies and have travelled all over the world and dined at many Michelin restaurants and five star hotels - but this experience was unique and very, very good.
