Location and Environment: The hotel is beautifully situated, right on the beachfront, offering direct access to a clean and spacious beach with stunning sea views. The tranquil surroundings and proximity to a bus stop make it a prime location for relaxation and exploration.(based on 1 review)

The “Pool View Suite” had no view of the Pool. No way are they of 4 Star Standard either. Lots of Cracked tiles and very shoddy and aged.. Food was very good and plentiful.. The staff extremely friendly, but at €300 a night, we felt very cheated with everything about Room 812 that was deemed a “Pool View and Garden View Suite”!! Besides zero view of the Pool, it was of very aged decor and in urgent need of modernisation.. Not to  mention the Gardeners making noise with machinery from around 4am In the morning.. Would not return

This hotel is as close to paradise as you can get on earth. From the moment we arrived we were immediately struck by the unbelievable warmth and kindness from the staff. We booked a pool bungalow witch was amazing. The cleaning impeccable and all accessories you could wish for was included for your convenience. The pool area was amazing, the fact that you got your own preserved sunbeds made everything so easy and smooth. At the hotell there are a lot of activities for those who wish. Everything from archery to Spanish lessons and also daily water gymnastics in the heated up pool. The pool bar and restaurant served amazing a la carte food, witch was included, as well as a lot of drinks, both soft drinks and spirits. The piña cold was probably the best I've ever had. The breakfast buffet was, as everything else awesome. Every morning there was an assortment of sparkling wine so you could(at least I did) make your own Mimosa with freshly squeezed juice. The dinner buffet was really good(even if it not blew my mind the same way as the breakfast and lunch). Now- to the best part of the hotel-the all included SPA-area. It has a huge warmed up indoor pool with several water massage stations that softens up your body until you feel like a cooked spaghetti l(in a good way). It also had different kinds of saunas and best of all was the salt pool. A dark shallow pool inside a room that feels like a quiet cave, the water is infused with high amounts of salt that makes it possible to lay completely still and float. After a while you feel weightless and almost go into a trance-like state. I've never been so completely relaxed in my life. This was the highlights of our vacation, on day three of our seven day stay, we decided to book the same hotell for a week in January 2027. I have visited GC every winter for 25 years, and I have never, ever visited a hotell that could even begin to measure with this.

I am disappointed that I need to share this as we visited the hotel in 2023 and were very impressed so much that we recently returned. This time rather than in the hotel main building we were allocated room 818 a bungalow in the garden. This is not a four star room and should not be allocated to customers on that basis. The room is for wheelchair users ( which we are not) and as such had a wet room bathroom, this room is awful it was like being in a school shower room, mouldy around shower, damp, patched up flooring tiles, paint falling off ceilings, open plastic bin with green bag no lid, laundry basket black in bottom, unable to dry towels due to dampness and no clothes line on terrace. The wood floor in the room is black and damaged clearly from previous water leaks and paint was falling from ceiling in last 2 days when people moved into the room above , which landed on the bed and in glass of water on bedside table. The good thing about room was shower pressure great and room large. We had previously stayed in a room on the 3rd floor at the side of the hotel which was lovely. Other thoughts were that the best thing about the hotel are the new the lunch options and coffee club which are brilliant and food in the pool bar is lovely and a great choice and included in the All inclusive. We gelt the food in the main restaurant in the evening was not as good as our first visit. The ‘star’ meat/fish option was not replenished often ( seamed like not enough staff) bit the grill was good other pr prepared options were bland in the main and often looked disgusting with really random mixtures of ingredients. Cheese board and desserts were good. Pasta station was poor in comparison to our first visit the pasta souse had mo taste extremely bland both the tomato and the garlic, last time we loved it as the sauce was so fresh , its a shame they changed it. Good, things- The hotel staff are lovely helpful and the hotel goes out of their way to provide good entertainment. The spa being free and open to all is great it was a shame that use of the massage bed is not shared more fairly amongst guests as the same regular guests wait for 15 mins before opening to book meaning others miss out

This hotel is a very serious operation - it has to merit a big fat five stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 The hotel’s biggest asset is its wonderful staff - from reception, to bar, to restaurant, to grounds maintenance, to cleaning…. fantastic professionalism and near-faultless courtesy. The hotel itself is spectacularly clean, with hygiene quite obviously (and rightly!) prioritised very highly. The food offers brilliant choice and range and I always found it to be kept hot where it needed to be. Ok, there were a couple of nights where it didn’t quite hit the mark in terms of options, but that’s more on my niche preferences rather than on the hotel. The rooms were large (though bathroom a little dated in the bungalow upper rooms) and always immaculately clean and comfortable. The grounds were pristine and added to a real sense of tranquility and peace. One little observation. Customers are allowed to use their own bottles to fill up at the water station, which didn’t strike me as hygienic practice. No biggy, but I dint really like that. All in all, an excellent stay and (prices permitting!) I would stay again without question (oh and it even does Tropical on draft - my holiday favourite!) Get it booked !

Just returned home from our fifth visit to this lovely hotel and already missing the warm environment, location and the super sea views. But we have already booked for this time next year! We choose to stay in the seaview suites, which are practically on the beach. M loves walking the beach as the sun rises and these suites give really easy access for this. Everything about the hotel remains good and we enjoyed the new coffee bar. Staff are welcoming, cheerful and any requests are met speedily and efficiently. For example, we asked for an extra blanket in our room and it was delivered within 10 minutes. Food is good with adequate choice and plentiful. We go all inclusive and the house wines are excellent riojas. We are not into evening entertainment so cannot comment on this aspect. But for a warm, welcoming comfy hotel - we can highly recommend.

Just come back from a second stay at this hotel. Great location. right on the beach. Very clean and comfortable and good friendly service from all the staff. Food on a buffet basis for breakfast, lots of choices for all tastes. Nice pool bar for snacks at lunch. Evening food again is on a buffet basis and a bit disappointing though, they do tend to cater for the more European tastes and the food could be hotter. There is an a le carte option or if you want to eat out, there are a lot of restaurants in short walking distance.

Back again! There are not many hotels that we would return to but this one exceeds expectations. Organisation is excellent as are the staff, always helpful, happy and keen to ensure you enjoy our time here. I love the sun bed allocation, you select a sun bed from what’s available and it’s yours for as long as you want it, you can also move if you wan. The best thing is that you can go for a morning walk have breakfast and know you don have to fight for a sun bed. Rooms are good and all face the sea so good views and south facing. Food is plentiful are lots of choices and recommend all inclusive. No music around the pool and a Spa which is excellent. Most guest are respectful and such a relaxing atmosphere. Entertainment varied, not necessarily our style but a variety nonetheless. Adult only is a great asset.

lovely quiet hotel , no kids running down corridors at 7 in the morning 🤣, staff are friendliest I’ve ever met , food very good, breakfast is fab , love all fresh smoothies plus everything else you could want , Just wish the a la carte pool restaurant would be open in evening , great 4 star hotel , Christmas banquet was a little disappointing as I am a vegetarian but for everyone else fine
