Decameron San Luis - All Inclusive

I chose Decameron because I stayed here 20 years ago, and it was one of the most fun vacations I’ve ever had. Now that I’m back, the resort feels outdated and could benefit from better organization, especially during mealtimes. If you don’t arrive right when the restaurant opens, you’ll often have to wait outside for a table. Once you’re inside, there are separate lines for almost everything, so by the time you finally sit down, your food is already cold. The staff is friendly, but the dining experience needs to be managed much more efficiently. I did not like that my room was next to the electrical room and I had to listen to it every time it was on. The resort also needs significant renovations. Many areas feel worn and outdated, including the doors, windows, air conditioning controls, and especially the bathrooms. Updating these facilities would make a huge difference in the overall guest experience. Considering what the resort charges, there should be more than enough resources to maintain and modernize the property. Guests paying these rates should expect facilities that are well maintained and a smoother overall experience. This resort has a lot of potential because of its location and the great memories many guests have here, but it needs investment and better organization to bring it back to the level it once was.

Outdated facilities, massive amounts of food waste, and mediocre tour agencies selling overpriced packages by breaking up activities that could easily be done in a single day... But the worst part was an incident we witnessed: across from the hotel, there is a small business run by a man who also operates a dog shelter; that business was robbed in broad daylight—around 4 p.m.—right in front of the hotel's security staff. And guess what? They did nothing. They didn't help report the incident to local authorities, nor did they provide the man with the hotel's security camera footage to help identify the perpetrators. Locals told us that, on one occasion, a mother dog and her puppies were inside the hotel grounds; the man tried to rescue them, but the hotel wouldn't let him in to get them, so they had to be extracted somehow to be taken to the shelter... which, to our surprise, is located right next door to the hotel...

My experience was excellent, I wanted to share a great moment with my girlfriend and We achieved to found this moment here Maybe as an advice you should improve the platform where the people reserve the restaurants, we weren't able to reserve the restaurant and we see the restaurant empty, this is my only recommendation.

I loved the food, the fresh air and the spectacular event

Where do I start . We got here at 10:00 am and we asked early check in . We’re told to wait till 3:00 pm : there must be another 100 people waiting to check in , while the employees are taking a siesta : no one seems to care . We were able to have lunch buffet style and the fact it’s an island one would expect fresh seafood . Instead we were served bass catfish . The worse fish to serve. And that’s the beginning: place is old , small swimming pool , one bartender making all the free drinks . Service bad : and I haven’t checked in yet

Everything was amazing, loved the food

It was a very good experience despite the bad weather. The food was varied and delicious. Not all the staff were equally friendly. However, none were rude.
