"We didn’t know much about the island or the resort before we visited. And we don’t speak any Spanish. Alvia and Alex did an excellent job in spite of not not speaking any English - they were very helpful!. It is a very private and small place and the food was good. There is no beach but it is not difficult to get a cart to take yourself to places. But we enjoyed hanging out at the hotel at least as much as the beaches. "

"Hotelroom was full of mold and smelled accordingly bad. There was no toilet paper and we had to go ask for it twice. The dirty towels we put on the floor to be changed were simply refolded and put on the bed again. Other guests were very inconsiderate of the quiet times and in general. The bathroom wasn‘t really clean when we checked in. As a hostel it might be alright, but if you‘re looking for a comfortable and clean hotel room this is not the place for you. We would not come back. Also, the responses from the Dreamer Beach Club to the negative reviews here on Tripadvisor were disrespectful and not ready to take any blame."

The Providence Hotel Boutique

"We stayed at The Providence Hotel Boutique for 4 nights with my partner, in a Deluxe Room, and overall had a pleasant stay. The building is beautiful, elegant, and has a very nice swimming pool. Our room was a bit small but well maintained, with a private outdoor table. Water was provided in the room, which was appreciated. There is also a Nespresso coffee machine in the lobby that guests can use for free—a great touch! The hotel offers motorbike and mule rentals. We rented a motorbike for half a day (COP 60,000) and it was new and very well maintained. A full day costs COP 120,000. The staff are nice and always willing to help, but the hotel could definitely improve its operations. During breakfast and dinner we experienced very long waiting times despite being the only guests. To refill our water bottles, we also had to ask the kitchen staff. It would be much more convenient to have a water dispenser or refill station in the lobby. The checkout process was also unnecessarily long. We had to manually go through every single expense because no printed receipt or summary was provided for us to verify. Later, when we returned to collect our luggage before going to the airport, another staff member went through the same process again, despite us having already paid everything through Trip.com. Another point worth mentioning is that during our stay, birthdays and weddings were organized at the property. To be honest, this was not ideal for an adults-only hotel that promotes relaxation and exclusivity. The events brought additional noise and activity that didn’t really fit with the peaceful, exclusive atmosphere we expected. It’s a shame because the property itself is beautiful and has great potential. With more efficient operations and better management of events, the experience could be much more aligned with the exclusive boutique concept the hotel promotes."

The bed was comfortable and the views from our room were spectacular. The best part of Casa Harb is the pool- it’s luxurious!"

Delicious meals: the breakfast buffet, with a wide variety of typical food (Bollo Limpio, Buñuelos, Empanadas, Butifarra and many more); lunch and dinner are quite balanced and healthy. The rooms are very nice with an excellent view, near to the main commercial and tourist centers, mainly shops. Well located, diligent staff. A gratifying stay."

"Within the very busy island of San Andres, this is the perfect place to stay. The posada is on the hill, away from the mass tourism. Licy and her son Chales run this beautiful place and help getting around on the island with their yellow jeep. The rooms are comfy, with A/C, and the house is surrounded by a wonderful garden. Licy's breakfast is delicious. "

"Very small. No space to store clothes or anything. The air conditioning leaked. The good thing is that it is very close to the beach and quiet."

"The place is very well located, with a stunning ocean view facing a small beach. It's close to everything: mini-markets, restaurants, attractions, and public transportation. It offers good value for money. The host, Mr. Taga, is a truly wonderful person! A kind, helpful, considerate, and generous islander, he's a great conversationalist and very proud of his island. He's so welcoming that you feel like you've known him your whole life, all within the bounds of respect, of course. Room 12 has the basics you need: a clean bed and bathroom, a fan, and a refrigerator. The real bonus is the balcony with a hammock, table and chairs, the view, and the sound of the sea and the wind. There are a few minor details that could be improved, but out of gratitude, I mentioned them to Mr. Taga, and because they weren't major issues, I was able to resolve them."
