Courtyard San Antonio SeaWorld®/Westover Hills

DONT BOOK IF YOU WANT TO SLEEP! Came back to visit family for the holidays, and stayed at this hotel because we have stayed here many times in the past and it has always been one of the cleaner hotels in town. It was always a pleasant, quiet stay in one of the nicer hotels outside the downtown area. But It has changed management, and it is no longer a relaxful stay.  I expected families with children running loudly down the halls because it is close to SeaWorld. What I did not expect was music being played through loudspeakers by the pool as early as 8 AM on some days going on until 10:30 in the evening on weeknights. I even called downstairs multiple times one evening when I wasn’t feeling well and was told that there was nothing they could do. I heard a baby crying in the next room while music blared at 10 o’clock at night, which is just inappropriate on a Tuesday. So if you have young children or are traveling on business or just simply want a good nights sleep, look elsewhere.

Everything was amazing except the beds. They were very hard. Pillows very thin . Not comfortable sleep at all for us or our daughters. We did let them know. And asked for more pillows in hope it would help . It didn’t . We stayed 3nights . That’s our only complaint

Family of 5. Room was great nice and cold. Balcony was cool. Kids loved it. Parking has cameras and security which was a relief. Theres a restaurant, coffe bar. And drinks. Overall a very nice place to stay. Will revisit soon.

Room, including bathroom, was spacious and clean, and overall hotel seemed orderly and clean. I also liked how the room had USB charging ports. Staff was friendly. Some negatives: you have to pay for parking even though you're a guest. Bathtub was clogged. Breakfast is made-to-order and not buffet style. At the time we ate, there was only one person working doing everything, and this can easily get crowded with long lines. Another negative: the "sound barrier" between floors is very poor; we can hear the person above us every time they walked, hard "thomping" sound. I would give a 3.75. For one night stays, would definitely consider staying again. If longer, would probably consider other places.

Over all our stay was great, but our specific room was clearly not cleaned properly. A small women’s coat was hanging in the closet. There were beer bottle caps on counters. The couch was stained. This is one of my favorite locations, but this room was lacking. Can’t wait for the renovations.

Stayed away from downtown to avoid parking fees but was still charged $10/day. Room had bugs and was noisy from kids running down the hall. Staff was great!

The guy at the front desk was great however housekeeping is seriously LACKING! Every day we had to go to the front desk for coffee. By day 3 still no Housekeeping. Back to front desk for more coffee, clean towels and trash bags as the small cans were overflowing. We did not have a DO Not Disturb sign on the door but yet it’s been 3 days and many trips to the lobby. Finally 4 days later housekeeping FINALLY shows up, do you want clean towels etc, at this point we said why bother, we are leaving in the morning. The Hispanic woman at the front desk could use some manners. Asked for a box of tissues and she acted like it was coming out of her paycheck. We said 4 people with allergies and maybe half a box of tissues is not enough. We were wondering when we walked to the room on the first day why filled trash bags were sitting by the doors. We get it now. NO ONE comes to your room for supplies or to clean. Calling the front desk is useless. NO ONE answers the phone. Will we stay there again, probably not. To many other hotels where they actually have housekeepers. 👎

Room was clean, hotel was nice and the young night front desk man was super nice that even my young said “he is super nice and gives amazing service”. I did not get his name but he went above and beyond. He was the youngest person
