Casa Madre Tierra

This place is very unique and beautiful!! You have to experience it to believe it for sure. The staff was very accommodating; the breakfast was delicious and the garden where the pool is located is so peaceful and relaxing. If we find ourselves in Panama again, we will stay for more than just one night.

Clean and relaxing. Massage part did not accept Amex which is my primary credit card. Otherwise, everything was great.

We had an Excellent tenderloin steak for dinner. Breakfast was great. Hotel decor was fascinating.

What a fantastic surprise and delight. Wonderful Zen vibe with lush tropical setting and unique charming decor mixed with minimalist finishes. Great place to unwind/decompress and/or use as a launch pad for local attractions. Staff was fantastic and meals were a delight. Only spent one night but wish it could have been more.

This is a very small boutique hotel with uniquely interesting decor, beautiful grounds and an incredible staff. I look forward to staying here again.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is amazing. We had a lovely stay in a 2 room suite next to the grand salon. We had access to our own kitchen and living space. The pool was perfect for our 2 daughters. The food was outstanding. We had a lovely stay and highly recommend.

We did not stay in the hotel, but did eat at the wonderful restaurant. The food is extremely delicious and well-prepared with a variety of options, including vegetarian. The service was very attentive and knowledgeable. The hotel and restaurant's decor can best be described as lifted from Great-Grandma's living room and gardens, if Great-Grandma was the coolest woman on the planet in her day. Very eclectic. Very stylishly up-cycled. There's a decent wine selection. While there aren't a ton of great restaurants in El Valle to choose from, this one is actually worth a trip from Panama City for a special lunch and a chance to get out of the heat and enjoy El Valle's spectacular views.

Lovely cosy little boutique hotel. Went as part of a bird watching tour - there were 12 of us and we basically took over the grounds, it became like staying at a friend’s house. Rooms are well proportioned and clean, all with AC. Service was amazing - the staff was wonderful and helpful whether it was about laundry or more towels etc. Food was excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner. You also have the option of sitting outside to eat in the gardens, and you should! It’s great! One last thing. The hotel has rather eclectic decorations. It’s a place on its way to becoming maximalist in terms of decor, but not entirely there yet. It may work for some, it may not - I found it quite charming.

We stayed three nights at Casa Tierra Madre and enjoyed our experience greatly! The interior and courtyard decor were just amazing, beautiful and comfortable! The breakfast was delicious and we had fantastic dinners each night. The food so deliciously prepared and presented and every dish was exceptional. Most importantly the service was outstanding! Ceasar was our man and took good care of us, assuring everything was perfect. It was nice to have a rental car because the hotel is a short drive from the main town. We all had a wonderful time and highly recommend Casa Tierra Madre, if you are looking for comfort, great food and fantastic service!
