Hotel Amari

I thought i will have a good stay at this hotel that’s why i extended my bookings. However, they have particular staff that is unprofessional and very rude to every guest including to their own team members and acts like an arrogant hotel heiress. The only thing i like is the location. The hotel is really outdated and the very thing you will notice is the pungent smell ( more similar to cat’s litter) right when entering the receiving area all the way up outside of your room door, I found the shower difficult to balance as well. They also charged $250 before checking in, i asked for a proof of transaction from their side because mine was done thru debit card and still waiting for that. They gave us hardcopy of the transaction but is showing “0” and i’m not really satisfied with that.

The location is great, it’s really close to every station of transportation mode, very close to the iconic cable car. Walking distance to stores and restaurants. Quite safer than the rest of the budget friendly hotel/hostels within the circle. The room is tidy when i arrived, i liked how the disposable cups were covered and sealed with plastics individually, however i saw a strand of hair sticking on to the high end of wallpaper. Furthermore, the only thing that bothers me is the 250 usd deposit thru credit/debit(it’s a must prior to check in) and i was told that the reimbursement will take up to 30 days!😐 but since i’m already booked, i just need to comply. I’ll just keep some evidences with me that there are no incidentals made in my room so i can have my 250 usd back😪. The young lady on the desk was really nice and lent me an umbrella coz it was raining that day and I still want to explore. I have extended my stay for one more night and see what happens next as i wanted to rest well today😴

It’s an okay facility. The reception left a lot to be desired. Not really helpful staff, especially the guy. I never been treated so poorly at any of the places I’ve stayed at

The room was nice but the floor was quite oily in the bedroom and sticky in the bathroom, the light was not enough only the lamps (only 1 lamp was usable from 2 when I stayed there.) The service was good, the hotel staffs are nice.

The Amari Hotel is in an excellent location near Union Square. The room was small, but it was perfect for my business trip. The only thing missing was a microwave in the lounge area, but I managed.

Terrible customer service. Not accommodating, unpleasant, terribly awful beds.

The heater wasn't working properly so we asked for help and was told it was automatic, but the room was still cold. On the second day we asked for the heater to be turned on, but it only lasted a few minutes, so we asked them for an electric heater.

Good budget hotel. Although car park available, we still need to pay. Overall good.
