Timbri Hotel San Francisco, Curio Collection by Hilton

Stayed at Timbri Hotel San Francisco and loved the modern design and friendly service. 🏨✨ The room was clean, stylish, and super comfortable, plus the rooftop bar offered amazing city views. 🌇 However, the area around the hotel can feel a bit rough, especially at night, so I mostly stayed in or used rideshare after dark. Timbri is a small hotel but very new hotel. I love the functional rooms, the great service from the reception staff, the cleanliness. I love the large open plan space that guests can use. There is a gym in the basement, a cafe at level 1 and a restaurant on level 13. There is a destination fee of 40 plus tax (levied per night) but the great thing is that they give you 15 dollars as a F and B credit. They charge 100 a night and they take that out of your credit card on check in and the destination fees are supposed to be taken out from there (as well as any room charges). I hope I get the refund that I should get... Location is the only thing which is not a clear win. It is located between market street and mason and is at the south east edge of the Tenderloin. The ups of this location is that is is very central and is a stones throw from Union Square and the Powell Station. The bad is that the surrounds have many homeless and drunks and makes it feel less safe.

The location was bad, kinda dangerous, but the hotel was good! Many young people stayed there, I think because of affordable accommodation.I liked the longe area, also you should go to the rooftop!

The service quality is very unpredictable in this hotel. Several staff are very hostile and it looks like a bullying scenario. They can be extremely annoyed by being asked questions even though some staff are helpful. So don’t expect too much when you check in and this is definitely not Hilton standard accommodation. h
