Parc 55 San Francisco - a Hilton Hotel

This hotel's location is truly excellent. It's a direct 40-minute subway ride from the airport, and you can see the hotel as soon as you exit the station. The environment is clean and tidy, and the rooms are spacious and spotless. The high-floor rooms, in particular, offer a beautiful view of the city. Although there are quite a few homeless people nearby, it still feels very safe as police are always on duty, and there are security guards in the hotel lobby. The guest rooms offer Wi-Fi, and there's a fully equipped gym (I didn't visit the pool as it's at another hotel). The key highlight is the convenient access to tourist attractions. The Cable Car turnaround is just a 2-3 minute walk away, offering direct rides to Fisherman's Wharf, Chinatown, and Union Square, all within about 10 minutes. Plus, there are many Chinese and Western restaurants nearby! I would definitely choose to stay here again if I return to San Francisco, but it's best to book early, as the price difference can be significant!

The hotel's location is relatively good. I didn't book breakfast initially, and later found the buffet breakfast at 44 per person a bit pricey. The hotel rooms are dated, but the size is decent. Make sure to double-check your room type and floor when booking, as mistakes are easily made, and changing rooms later is a hassle.

The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient to get anywhere. The facilities, however, can't really compare to similar hotels back home. I understand San Francisco is an older city, though. I'd definitely stay here again on my next visit.

The hotel is conveniently located, directly accessible from San Francisco Airport, and makes getting around very easy. You can even walk to Oracle Park, home of the San Francisco Giants, which is a bit of a stroll but perfectly fine during the day. Alternatively, it's a direct metro ride. The room was clean and excellent, no complaints there. They have water dispensers on the first floor and in front of the reception, but it seems they're not available from late night to morning.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. The American breakfast was simple yet hearty. The front desk and restaurant staff were warm and courteous. The hotel's location is very convenient, close to Powell Street BART, bus stops, and the cable car terminal.

My friends and family previously warned me about staying near Union Square, saying it wasn't safe. However, after spending two nights here, I actually found the hotel's location to be excellent. The cable car is just a block away. Security is also good; you need your room key to enter the hotel after dark. I arrived at 11 AM on the day of check-in, fully expecting to just store my luggage, but to my surprise, they allowed me to check in early for free. There was also no mandatory $35 fee as some reviews mentioned. On my departure day, I picked up my rental car at the Union Square branch, only to find out it was just 300 meters from the hotel.

It's in the city center, and the stay was decent, comparable to the Hilton hotels I've stayed at in the UK. The only difference is that they didn't provide shoes or disposable slippers, nor were there any slippers in the bathroom.

Quite clean and well-connected. The only downside was the carpeted floor.

This Hilton hotel is located in downtown San Francisco, right by Union Square. For its price point, it offers pretty good value for money. The room was cleaned daily, and the bedding and bathroom amenities were quite comfortable. While toothpaste, slippers, and facial cleanser aren't provided, they do offer shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. The fitness facilities are comprehensive, and the swimming pool, though not large, is clean. However, given San Francisco's cooler July temperatures, it's not ideal for outdoor swimming. Getting around from here is a breeze. Cable cars and streetcars are easily accessible, making it convenient to reach Fisherman's Wharf, Little Italy, and Chinatown. For airport transfers, you can take the BART express train from right outside the hotel, and it only takes about half an hour to San Francisco International Airport. Step outside the hotel, and you'll find theaters and supermarkets, perfect for entertainment and shopping. Macy's, Japanese and Thai restaurants, and famous steakhouses are all within a 10-minute walk.
