Staying in Tower 1, the room was a bit compact; we really had to strategize to open our 28-inch and 24-inch suitcases. There's a water dispenser on the way from the lobby to Tower 1, so you can bring your own bottle to refill. The hotel doesn't provide toothpaste, toothbrushes, or slippers, and there's no kettle either. Oh, and for first-time guests with large luggage, it's best to use the main entrance – there's a ramp which makes it easier to pull your bags. Definitely avoid the side entrance, which is the garage entrance, as there are no elevators or ramps there; you'd have to carry your heavy luggage up the stairs, which is very inconvenient. On the bright side, the hotel doesn't charge a destination fee, which is a big plus.

Overall, it's a decent, rather large hotel. I imagine if you check in or out at peak times, you might have to queue. Luckily, I arrived and left at good times, so no waiting for me. I even checked in at 10 AM, which was a huge plus – big thumbs up for that! The facilities are a bit dated, and the service is pretty much non-existent unless you specifically ask for something. However, the location is excellent, making it convenient to get everywhere. The sky bar is definitely a highlight. All in all, it's not bad~

The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient for getting around, with an Avis and Budget car rental agency right downstairs. The lobby is grand, and while the decor is a bit dated, it's still very clean – Hilton's quality really shines through. The hotel also has a swimming pool; too bad I didn't have time to try it out.

I was very satisfied with my stay. The hotel lobby is spacious, and during the World Cup, everyone gathered there to watch the matches. Although the rooms are a bit dated, the hotel's location is excellent. We could easily take public transport to attractions like Fisherman's Wharf. The room had a refrigerator, and on the 16th floor, there's a pool, microwave, and ice machine, which was very convenient. There's a supermarket nearby, and the front desk even upgraded us for free to a room with two 1.5-meter beds. The room was very spacious, and the staff were very enthusiastic. We weren't charged any extra fees, which I'd seen mentioned in other reviews. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel offers good accessibility to major tourist attractions in San Francisco, especially being close to the cable car. Although it's located downtown, the area around the hotel entrance feels very safe. I highly recommend it for families.

The location was very accessible to many of our points of interest. Shopping, dining and attractions are not far. Ride share pick up is quick. Staff are all very courteous.

Excellent stay at Hilton San Francisco Union Square. The hotel was exceptionally comfortable and perfectly located right in the heart of San Francisco, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city’s attractions, shopping and dining spots. The room was spacious and relaxing with a very comfortable bed, good coffee and a clean, well-maintained bathroom. The spa and pool facilities were also a wonderful bonus after long days of sightseeing. A reliable and enjoyable stay with great comfort and location combined.

The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from Union Square, with the cable car turnaround and various bus stops nearby, making transportation incredibly convenient. The lobby is spacious and has a convenience store where you can buy daily necessities, coffee, burgers, and pastries. While the prices are a bit higher than outside supermarkets, it's very convenient. Overall, the hotel is clean and tidy, the rooms are quite large, and the value for money is decent.

The hotel room was very spacious, and we were given a high-floor room with great city views. The hotel service was good, and it was quite clean. I would choose this hotel again next time.

The hotel is in a great location, right near Union Square. If you like walking, you can practically reach all the downtown attractions on foot from here. Interestingly, when you enter through the side door of the hotel, there's a cable car parked inside – I'm not sure if it's for display or still operational, but I did take a ride on a cable car at a station near the hotel later. Inside the room, beyond the towels and large bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and lotion, there was nothing else. Not even a disposable shower cap. There was no complimentary bottled water either. While there was a capsule coffee machine, there was no kettle, so I had to ask the housekeeper for one. The bar on the 46th floor has fantastic views; it's a great spot for a drink and to enjoy San Francisco at night. I didn't get a chance to use the pool, but I'm sure it's nice too.
