Hotel Epik

Stayed at Hotel Epik and while the hotel itself was decent, the location is something you really need to consider carefully. On the positive side, it’s very convenient—pretty central and easy to get around the city from here. The room was clean, simple, and comfortable enough for a short stay. However, the surrounding area didn’t feel very safe, especially at night. There were quite a number of homeless individuals around, and the streets could feel uncomfortable and a bit unsettling. Because of this, I honestly wouldn’t recommend this hotel for a girls’ trip or if you’re traveling alone and planning to head out at night. Overall, it’s okay if you’re on a budget and just need a place to sleep, but safety and comfort outside the hotel might be a concern depending on your travel style.

We appreciated the lobby amenities and the continental breakfast. We appreciated the updated rooms, the a/c, and how quiet our room was. The front desk was very helpful. We did find the room quite small, but serviceable. We do wish it had a bar fridge.
