Convenient location with easy access to public transportation. The pool is gorgeous and great for photos!

The room's cleanliness was acceptable, but it wasn't soundproof. The hallway and rooms above and below were very noisy. We booked a triple room with breakfast included, but the room itself didn't come with breakfast, so we ended up paying extra for it. After contacting Ctrip customer service, they promptly refunded the breakfast fee.

Good hotel, great location, not far from the city center. Breakfast is not included; you get a $10 voucher or can have a free coffee and pastry. There's a gym.

1. Cleanliness: Very well kept. The room is small, but quite clean. 2. Environment: Located right in the city center. There are a lot of homeless people around, and a mixed crowd of guests staying at the hotel—book with caution. 3. Service: The front desk staff seemed a bit impatient, constantly nagging me about not parking at the entrance for too long, blah, blah, blah. They were probably just covering themselves. The reality is that parking in San Francisco is an absolute nightmare, and nobody wants to park right in front of their tiny lobby. 4. Amenities: Parking is not free and costs $70–$80 per day, plus tips since there's valet service. Here's a tip for fellow travelers: you can park on the street to the immediate right of the hotel exit. No one checks it, it's free, and your car won't get broken into (just make sure not to leave anything inside). You can save at least $30 a night on parking, and it's much more convenient for getting around (though you do have to rely a bit on luck to find a spot).

I waited for the deposit refund before leaving my review... Let's start by saying that when you arrive, they ask for a $200 deposit, even though it's not written anywhere, and then they return it a week after check-out. As for the hotel, the location is very good as it's close to many points of interest, but for everything else, it was a complete miss. I stayed for 2 nights, and both nights, every 2 hours, there was a deafening noise, like something banging, that made you jump out of bed. As if that weren't enough, at 8 in the morning, they start with vacuum cleaners and cleaning equipment that make a deafening noise, so you're forced to wake up. A very negative experience.
