Hotel Garrett – No Resort Fee

located in downtown SF. I don't know if it was because I was assigned at the 5th floor but the internet is very slow. You need to have mobile data since you cannot depend on the hotel wifi

Older hotel with remodeling. Very nice lobby staff. Continental breakfast till 10ish daily. Let me check in my luggage both before and after my event. Front desk phone never picked up while staying though. Would have been nice to have room fresh towels and coffee replenishment daily, but that was provided every other day since I couldnt get a hold of houskeeping. Room had a missing spot for a fridge or microwave, either would have been nice. A few spots needed some cleaning, cob webs outside of room, empty water bottle above the balcony on the netting. Other than that, nice place for the price and busy Convention weekend. Was walking distance to the Event Center and to the subway to get to Oracle Park. Streets nearby can be full of a lot of homeless but obviously not the Hotel's fault (avoid 5th street).

Hotel location is close to major attractions, easily accessible via public transportation and also provides parking facilities at a reasonable price. Comes with free breakfast which includes pastries, fruits and great coffee.

The best part about staying here was leaving. There was no early check in which is fine but then check in time was at 4pm and even then, the room was still not ready for check-in. We were offered a room with one bed instead of two, then they gave us two rooms. Which was pointless because we were traveling together. We received no towels or cleaning service and also did not have any body wash. Also had the cleaner walk into the room while we were naked because she left a lunchbox in there when they were preparing the room. Tried to upload a picture of the dirty bath tub that had a ring iof fresh dirt and also hair shot out of the faucet when I turned it on. Really bad place, and every time I passed the counter somebody else was complaining about how bad it was

The information is misleading. No breakfast included as advertised. The pool and gym are not at the hotel location which is not mentioned in the advertisement. The hotel smelled dingy and the carpet through out was dirty. The room power went out in our room due to lack of electricity for the use of a blow dryer and window air conditioner being used at the same. time. The staff had an excuse for everything.

Rooms and bed were comfortable, bathroom nice and clean...but only bad thing was the hygiene, at night staying awake itching and feel crawling house dust mites, 4 nights was to long after all.

Room was nice. I had emergency situation so I needed to check out early, at that the lobby agent treated me quickly, so I got refunded. It was really nice.

Customer services rude. No bellboy. No refrigerator. Rooms are small. Breakfast was only a stale beagle and coffee that taste like tap water. Place stinks smells like old dusty furniture. So many sketchy people walking around outside. Bums and druggies all around the area. If this is what you’re looking for and the standard you set for yourself good luck!
