Hotel Nikko San Francisco

The breakfast items were quite fresh, and they had Japanese soup and rice, though more options would have been even better. The room was spacious, came with a bathtub, and offered nice city views! The sauna was good too, but when I went to the pool, another family had already taken over the hot tub. There was also a dog walking area, which was a thoughtful touch. At check-in, I was told there was a $25 credit per night to use at the restaurant, but after using it, I discovered that the tip wasn't included. Even when getting takeout to the room, the restaurant still charged a mandatory tip. It felt a bit like a hidden charge, and if I had to pick something I was unhappy about, that would be it.

The hotel's location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk from Union Square and the cable car, with very few homeless people around. It's super convenient for getting in and out. The Japanese-style breakfast is light and not greasy. The facilities are good, the room is spacious, and it feels clean and safe. My only complaint is that I was already struggling with jet lag and lack of sleep, and then the room alarm went off in the early hours of the morning, which was incredibly annoying. It shows a clear lack of attention to detail in the hotel's management.

Pretty good, very clean. The only issue was the parking; there weren't any spots, so we had to park in a nearby lot. Breakfast was nice, and the room was quite spacious. The location was also excellent, though the traffic was congested due to snow in the evening.

A really hard feather poked out of the pillow, leaving several painful marks on my face. When I reported it to the front desk, they didn't even apologize, let alone offer any solution!
