Nob Hill Hotel

All things is good. It includes breakfast and the hotel has free  water, coffee and other drinks from coffee machines. Fitness has enough for exercising.  The area of hotel is quite safe and it can walkable or take uber, waymo easily to go to the attractions.

Comfortable stay. Was actually very quiet at night; had our windows open and slept very well.

Building is classic Victorian style if you want to enjoy and experience the true SFO. Location is top of the hill with Trader Joe at walking distance.

Our stay at Nob Hill Hotel was unexpectedly great. Although it’s a little far from Union Square, the walk was very tolerable. What really stood out was the free unlimited water and coffee available 24/7, which was a huge plus. The hotel also has a very unique lift and a charming, distinctive style that added character to our stay. Overall, a pleasant surprise and a comfortable experience. We would also like to commend the helpfulness of Emmanuel, who assisted us during our stay. He is very kind and accommodating, and his warm service truly made our experience even better. We will definitely come back and even cancelled our other hotel booking so we can return again after our visit here in Hollywood.

Booked for a very last minute SF trip due to an emergency. The price was reasonable and the location served my purpose. Staff attitude varied. Interacted with different people at different times. Some were professional and friendly. The guy who checked us in was not rude but indifferent. Small lobby with sitting area with free water and coffee. There’s a Mediterranean restaurant with access from both street and lobby. And different, separate area that’s for the free breakfast included in the room rate. Heard breakfast is basically pastries. There’s a slow, ancient elevator that operates with manually opening and closing of the iron gate. Musty smell and hard to tell when it’s there without light or sign on outside. Room was okay given the rate. Was not expecting a Ritz. No AC but windows can be opened. Shower door leaks. Toilet has minimum pressure so very hard to flush properly. There’s daily housekeeping though. Would have garnered a higher rating if not for this horrific experience. Right after we checked in and left our bags in the room, we went out immediately. As soon as I stepped out of the elevator to the lobby, I heard my partner yell “mouse” to the guy at front desk. I was on the phone and hadn’t paid attention. He said there was a live mouse running around my feet and he kicked it to the wall. I looked and saw its tail and hind legs behind a potted plant. I pointed to the front desk guy again and he said he saw too. We had to leave to tend to our own business anyway. Don’t know what that guy did. Because of this incident, I never tried their breakfast. Nob Hill is a good area supposedly. This hotel is near the southern border however. Not unsafe but close to mediocre residential neighborhoods where dog owners consider public sidewalks as their pets bathroom and they don’t clean up. Rather disgusting at places. Walking uphill/north and NE may be better.

Location very good m hotel is okay but not a 4 star or 3 star. More like good 2-2.5 star place.

Very nice hotel, everything ok, except the room we stayed was really really small, the bathroom was ok.

I can recommend staying at this hotel. It was very clean and well maintained. Even though the rooms are rather small, they are renovated and modernly furnished, which makes you feel comfortable. The breakfast was included and sufficient for the price. Better value for money compared to other hotels. The location is good, with easy access to public transportation nearby. Overall, it was a pleasant stay that I would recommend.
