The location is fantastic, right in the heart of downtown and close to the BART station. The building is historic, so the rooms are a bit old, but they were kept very clean, making for a comfortable stay.

I really have to thank Trip.com. Even though there was a mix-up due to a last-minute cancellation, Trip.com intervened very quickly. The stay itself was quite good, it's just a shame the hotel doesn't offer breakfast, but there's nothing that can be done about that.

The water pressure in the shower is weak, and there's virtually no soundproofing. Other than that, I have no major complaints. The location is good, and I'd like to stay here again.

This is a classic hotel. It's a bit old, but very clean. The location is excellent, with direct BART access to and from the airport. We also had great access to tourist attractions using the Cable Car Turnaround on Powell St. Personally, I really appreciated having a Trader Joe's, Target, and Ross Dress for Less all within a 5-minute walk. It's more affordable than other hotels in the area, so I'd definitely want to stay here again if I go to San Francisco.

The staff at Hotel Beresford San Francisco were incredibly welcoming and helpful. I was really happy with the room I booked; it was exceptionally clean and the bed was huge and super comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located right next to a large supermarket, and there's a bus stop right outside. Across the street is a Ross department store, and the metro is just a 2-minute walk away. I'll definitely choose Hotel Beresford again next time I'm in San Francisco.

Location: Excellent Value for money: Excellent (But only for solo travelers) If you think of it as a hotel, it's not great, but I think the biggest advantage is that for just 1.5 times the price of a guesthouse, you can get a private room.
