Podere Bellavista

Pure relaxation, peace and beauty. I spent many, many hours researching the Agritourismo options in Tuscany. We wanted to be close to a special village and be able to do some wine tours. But ultimately, we wanted a place to relax and enjoy mother nature. Podere Bellavista is a wonderful B&B and we all hope to return soon. The rooms were so special - not supersized but perfect for our group. Two of us had the suite option which provided a separate living room and small kitchen. Two large TVs were in our suite but we never turned them on. The wifi was excellent for all of us. The outdoor space was delightful, comfortable patios for all of us to hang out and visit with each other. The pool area is super clean and lunch can be brought to your chaise lounge using a QR code and WhatsApp. BUT, the BEST feature is the wonderful food. We added the breakfast option at booking and the other meals are additional charges but very reasonable. What a treat - having chefs on the property preparing fresh and healthy meals. Especially the dinners: a 4 course meal that was different every night. We never ate anywhere else! What a perfect vacation for us. Thank you Virgina, Andrea, Alissa, Maria and Paula.

Do yourself a favor and stay here. It was the best stay we have ever had, ever!! From the clean room, service, amazing food, wine, olive oil. Pool and so much more. The staff treats you like you are family. My heart is full. We will be eager to return!

The staff was very friendly, rooms were great, the view was amazing and the food was incredible! In short, we are definitly coming back soon! It's some of the best food we had during our trip throuh Italy.

Beautiful place with a panoramic view of San Gimignano. Friendly staff (Andrea, Virginia, Alissa, Vanessa and Paula) will run all day long to give you a pleasant, relaxing stay. And of course, we must not forget the gorgeous cuisine you can enjoy in the evening. A place to remember!!! (for the future 😉)

We had an incredible stay at Podere Bellavista. We were so impressed with how beautiful the grounds were kept, the facilities, the service provided by everyone, the view, and the quality of the food. We LOVED every aspect of the 4-course dinner we had, we were so blown away. There was such a charm to the personalized service provided by the staff and they were happy to accommodate any request, always with such a smile! And at the same time, we benefitted from the modern aspects of being able to scan a QR code by the pool to order food and drinks. Truly, we are so impressed and can't wait to come back. Thank you for your grace in hosting us, you made our stay unforgettable.

Podere Bellavista was a dream to stay at! We stayed there for 8 nights in total and if we could have extended it we would have! The communication beforehand was first class. Virginia helped me booked and helped with lots of other queries I had. We were welcomed to Podere by Virginia into a very relaxing and laid back atmosphere after a stressful time getting there. We got a welcome drink to calm us down at the comfy seating area before being shown to our room. The accommodation itself was perfect. We stayed in Amelia and Vittoria (double bedrooms). Both immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. Great size for the length of our stay. All the modern things you could want (air con, tv and very good hairdryer!) but still authentic Italian. Local toiletries were provided and replaced. The cleaners were fantastic and turned down our bed every day. We would have liked a small safe for small valuables but that’s our only comment from our trip! The outside area immediately out our rooms were perfect too (Vittoria had views of San Gim). The gardens and surrounding area (vineyards and olive groves) were beautiful and added to the relaxing environment. You get great views from everywhere at the hotel, especially by the pool which is a great size and temperature with a jacuzzi at the end. The WhatsApp ordering service was fantastic and we used this every day for food and drinks. The service by Virginia, Andrea and the team was flawless - thank you for being so attentive! We tried the 4 course tasting menu 3 times and the food quality was excellent (you order before 3pm each day)! It’s just like fine dining. I am quite a fussy eater but I ate everything. Good selection of food and drink on the daytime menu and wine list had a good selection at different prices, we loved the rosé wine. Breakfast was so relaxed and you overlook the olive trees and San Gim. You order whatever you want from a large selection of food and drink. All cooked for you there and then and presented beautifully. The location of the hotel is perfect. You are a 20 minute walk from San Gim and a 5 minute walk to a wonderful pizzeria il Rifugio (we ate there 4 times!) You are just off the main road so great for exploring with a car the neighbouring towns and villages. Only 1.5 hours from Pisa airport. We had to leave early for our flight and Virginia had ensured a small breakfast pack had been made up for us to take on our journey, very kind and considerate people. I would not hesitate to book or recommend this accommodation to anyone! They have thought of everything, thank you for making our holiday so perfect, Andrea and Virginia. We can’t wait to come back!!

Our first visit for three years and what a transformation Virginia and Andrea have carried out. The Apartments are spacious with very comfortable beds and all the necessary amenities you need for either a short or long stay. The highlight for us was the new introduction of the in-house chef and her team who created some delicious evening meals on most evenings with V & A filling in with their own Tuscan dishes when needed. Equally rewarding was the availability of day time snacks and drinks all featured on the new in house food app and delivered to where ever you were. There really wasn’t any need to visit San Gimignano and it’s many tempting restaurants when you have it on your doorstep at half the price and a Panoramic view included in the menu. Excellent pool with ample loungers and a wonderful hammock if you can manage to get into it! perfect for a leisurely snooze.
