Beautiful place in the heart of the reserve, not easy to reach but it is worth it! Staff extremely friendly and helpful, a special thanks to Tianna that showed us around.

We loved Hidden Valley. It is a small lodge and it feels quite exclusive. The service is good and the staff are friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. We had a room with an outside shower which was wonderful. There bed was very comfortable and there was a hammock in a screened porch. There are lots of insects that bite so make sure you use the oil provided by the lodge. The restaurant menu was imaginative using local suppliers and ingredients. Portions were large and we ended up sharing starters and desserts. Drivers will take you to a trail and then collect you when you are ready to return using a 2 way radio for communication. We loved our picnic lunch at the waterfall.

We are not usually resort people, but Hidden Valley Wilderness Lodge completely won us over. The property spans 7,200 acres with over 100 miles of well-maintained but adventurous hiking trails. Everywhere you go, there is peaceful solitude, and the spectacular waterfalls and streams along the clearly marked trails often feel like they are all yours. With only about 20 guests at a time, it truly feels like your own private wilderness. We were there for four nights but could have easily spent much more time exploring the property itself. Beyond the lodge, the Mountain Pine Ridge area offers many incredible sights worth exploring. The lodge perfectly balances wilderness with five-star luxury. The massive trail network is clearly signed, and the provided walkie-talkies make exploring safe and easy, with drop-off and pick-up options allowing you to go farther without feeling managed or crowded. The birding is exceptional, with some rare species including orange-breasted falcons and king vultures. The property boasts some of the most spectacular waterfalls in the world, and you will more than likely have them all to yourself. The staff, including Kenny, Johan, Catherine, Roger, Marvin, Kevin, and many others working behind the scenes, are extraordinary. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care reflect pure Belizean hospitality. They guided us on a property and trail tour to help us get familiar with the grounds, assisted with logistics, made spectacular food and cocktails, including picnic lunches for our hikes, and always made us feel completely at home while also being fun and welcoming. Our room was breathtaking, beautiful, spacious, and spotlessly clean. Thoughtful touches like an indoor and outdoor shower, a massive screened-in porch with chairs and a hammock, natural bug repellent, and a little bedtime story with homemade sweets at turndown made our villa a private, five-star sanctuary. Our screened-in porch was undoubtedly one of our favorite places to be. Sitting there with coffee or a cocktail, enjoying the completely peaceful Mountain Pine Ridge landscape with no other buildings or people in sight, and listening to the birds felt deeply restorative and luxurious. The views made it easy to feel fully immersed in nature. The hikes left us energized (and with a healthy appetite!), and the food and cocktails were quite simply phenomenal, the best food we have ever had, paired with creative, expertly made cocktails. Every meal was remarkable and beautifully crafted, with extraordinary care and attention to detail. The prices were also surprisingly reasonable, which was an unexpected and very welcome plus given the exceptional quality and creativity of every dish. Hidden Valley is one of those rare places where you can completely unplug, immerse yourself in nature, and feel like you have a vast, serene world all to yourself. By the end of our stay, we felt restored, inspired, and deeply grateful for the beauty around us and the incredible

Our stay at Hidden Valley Wilderness Lodge was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. Their warmth, attentiveness, and authenticity embody everything we love about Belize. Every interaction felt personal — never forced — and it elevated the entire experience. The team is exceptional. The food was absolutely out of this world. Thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor — every meal felt like a special occasion. Dining here isn’t just convenient; it’s a highlight of the stay. And then there’s the setting. Hidden waterfalls, sweeping valley views, peaceful hiking trails — the experience is immersive and magical. You feel completely removed from the noise of everyday life while surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty. It’s serene, adventurous, and restorative all at once. Hidden Valley is more than a place to stay — it’s an experience we will never forget. We cannot wait to return.

The most gorgeous stay! We stayed in the Fire Tower and just WOW This is one of the most luxurious stays in Belize with fantastic walking tours through the valley, you will see some of the most surreal waterfalls The bed was huge and had proper pillows and duvet which if you are anything like me will appreciate regardless of the weather Breakfast is served to your room! We enjoyed on the balcony watching the sunrise The bath tub was a great addition the the room especially after a big walk! The Fire Tower gave you gorgeous views and an even better sunrise and sunset We were even lucky enough to see a thunder and lightening storm which was incredible Would recommend to a friend and 100% return

Really lovely experience staying here! We only stayed 3 days and 1 night sadly. I wish it was more. All the staff were so pleasant. You can tell they just wanted you to have a nice time there. The food was very delicious. We happened to be there on one of the nights they do dinner for everyone outside. They only do this 2 days out of the week, happy we were able to enjoy this. The rooms were very nice and had everything you need with an outdoor shower that was very clean and prepared. The walls are thin, something to keep in mind if you share a wall with another guest. Lots of amazing trails and water falls on the property with not many people at the sites since these trails are only open to the guests at the lodge. Excited to stay here again in the future :)

My wife and I live in Belize and love to try out different resorts during the slower times of the year. My wife had just finished a big project at her work so I booked at Hidden Valley so we could relax for a few days. We booked the FireTower due to its uniqueness. It did not disappoint. The Fire Tower is 3 floors up and modeled after the fire towers used to lookout for forrest fires. There are 48 stairs to get from the ground floor, but it feels like a small price to pay for the view. We enjoyed sitting on the front deck in the morning and evening and listening to the various bird calls and enjoying the view that was almost 100% nature. The only other structure visible is the guard house at the front entrance to the resort. The resorts boasts 100 miles of trails that are available for hiking. They will even shuttle you to and from the various trail heads and the front desk. They even provide a radio in case you need help, or just to call for a pickup at the end of your hike. We did hike one day and throughly enjoyed it. PRO TIP: The unit has a small kitchenette in it with a dorm-style fridge and microwave. If you are coming in through the main Belize airport (BZE) I'd recommend hitting duty free for a few bottles of your favorite adult beverage. It'll save you some serious $$$$$ over the prices at the resort bar.

Beautiful resort and property. My teen daughter and I were there for three days and wished we'd had more time to explore the grounds there. Spacious, comfortable and clean rooms. Staff was exceptional in every way. Relaxed, serene and lux vibe. Food was top notch - important since it's your only real option.

Wow! This place is beautiful. After a short drive of the main road, we were taken to Hidden Valley Lodge. Our room was fantastic, great views and a private plunge pool. The staff was helpful and friendly. We were taken on a tour and hikes by Marvin on the Hidden Valley properties, saw multi waterfalls, a rare orange breasted falcon . The tour ended with lunch at at waterfall and pool.
