Book only one night needed to be closed to the airport prior to leaving Costa Rica. I arrived too early to check in so I left my backpack in the storage and went sightseeing. Rooms were cleaned however my issues was with the cleanliness of the bathrooms I wish they were cleaner . Shower’s didn’t have any hooks or shelves and I didn’t have anywhere to but my stuff other then the floor. I found a very cockroach in the shower which was also gross. Bathrooms could definitely be cleaner and furniture could be less broken done. Definitely more on the budget friendly side.

I'm not sure I'll ever travel to Costa Rica again, but I might come back once my language skills improve. Friends from various countries come here, and while large hostels tend to have a lot of "J" (Japanese-style) noise, this place has none of that, which is nice. I like the quietness of hostels without any programs.

The staff were very friendly and even stored my luggage after check-out until the evening. I didn't have time to go swimming in the pool, but overall the room, common areas, and bathroom were all spacious and comfortable. There are nightclubs and bars within walking distance, but there was no noise at night, and there was a police station nearby so I didn't have to worry about safety.

A very good hostel. Safe location, with plenty of restaurants nearby. Not far from the city center, within walking distance. Large common area with a pool, kitchen, and bar. Reliable internet. The hotel provides a lot of useful transportation and travel information. Highly recommended.

So rude tells me i have to leave 15 minutes before checkout while i was on the phone with my bank then makes a bad report to next place i was staying. Ive stayed there 13 years in a row never again.

Really nice hostel! Giant fans in the room which is super nice for the warm weather. Communal areas are very nice.
