Bee Suites San Jose - Escalante

Clean place, modern, safe, and easy walking to bars, eateries, and small shops! Will be my go to spot in San Jose next trip!

Overall this was a nice property. The condo was clean, beautiful and had an amazing view. The Wi-Fi did not work very well, which made it very challenging to work while I was there.

Nice apartment in very cool neighborhood It was a good stay! A geat unit with a nice view and rooftop lounge. A few minutes walk to awesome restaurants, coffee shops and a little park. Also close to the crafts festival which I believe occurs on Saturdays. I would stay here again.

I am very disappointed with my stay. I specifically chose this hotel because of the gym and Jacuzzi, but both were unusable. On our first night, we were stuck for two hours because the parking gate would not open — quite frustrating for such a short 2-night stay in San José. During this incident, the contact number provided was unreachable on WhatsApp, and we only received a call once the parking finally opened. The next morning, I woke up before 5 a.m. to follow my training routine — strength training followed by some relaxation in the Jacuzzi with a view. Unfortunately, the weights in the gym were locked, and I was told they are only for residents of the apartment building, not hotel guests. This is misleading and frustrating, as the gym was one of the main reasons I booked here. I then wanted to use the Jacuzzi, but it was filthy. The staff decided to empty the water, which meant that in the end, I could not use it at all before leaving for the airport. In the end, I couldn’t do my workout, nor enjoy the Jacuzzi, which were supposed to be the highlights of the hotel. Between the parking problems, the unreachable contact, the unusable gym, and the dirty Jacuzzi, this was a very disappointing stay.

I enjoyed the property very much! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There were some issues with my first room, and they immediately switched me to another room without hesitation. There were plenty of places to walk to, including a grocery store. However the sidewalks weren't in the best condition and there were major inclines. Overall, I would stay there again!
