Oasyhotel

We loved our experience at Oasy, particularly of a friendliness of a general manager, the beautiful grounds (the weather was much cooler than on the lower elevations), the cool experiential offerings, the social impact part of the organization, and overall it was a really unique, once in a lifetime (especially if you are coming from the United States) kind of stay, mixing Italian style and traditions with an eco-luxury experience. A few suggestions to improve the resort and hopefully make it so that guests want to return again and again. First, the food at both the main restaurant, as well as Casa Luigi were not up to par for a resort of this cost and ambition. While we loved the setting and the freebies that began each dinner, however the bread is truly not good so dry and bland even with copious amounts of the olive oil. A simple fix would be to offer the excellent focaccia provided at breakfast each day. Although the menu sounded interesting, the pastas were also bland. I did enjoy the braised beef one night. As you have to take a scheduled shuttle out of the resort, it is inconvenient to have dinner anywhere else, and so I recommend making the restaurants at the resort much better since guests will be captive to them. It is important to note that stay at the resort means being bound by the shuttle schedule, be aware of this and ask for the schedule prior to making any activities outside of the resort. It takes 25 min down to the parking lot. Finally, while the pool looks gorgeous, it is very cold, and seems to be largely unfiltered, while we were there no one actually swam in the pool for more than five or 10 minutes at a time. Maybe when it is hotter that will be different. Overall, we are glad that we took this chance on Oasy, and would recommend this resort to our friends, with the caveats above. If the changed the items above, we would love to go back! Thanks for a great stay!

Firstly, the setting is delightful, a world away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The cabins are beautifully appointed and the food is delicious. The manager was a true professional and very friendly. On paper this seems like a great place to visit. Now for the negatives. A number of the staff don’t meet the standards for the price of this hotel, poor communication, kept waiting for much longer than expected, fear in their eyes and a general lack of experience in dealing with people. Now to the activities. Check the prices before you visit, they are very expensive, which led us to do less of them. If the price was reduced by 25% I’d imagine they’d get a lot more bookings. We definitely would have. One activity we did do, into the night, was a real let down. We speak English and we were with a couple who speak Italian. The guide spent 95% of her time talking to them and we felt completely excluded from the whole thing. Really not what you’d expect from this type of hotel. Also to note, a lot of things are only open for the summer. Again if we’d known this it would have affected our decision in visiting this property when we did. Finally there were a few issues on some bills. Incorrect drinks, additional items we did not order and at check out it had included the cash room rate, even though we’d paid on points. Some work to do to make it live up to its Small Luxury Hotel claim.

We travelled up through the winding country/mountain roads to explore and enjoy the serenity of Oasy Hotel for the last couple of days of our honeymoon. You arrive at the base of the hill, where you are welcomed by staff and they drive you up to the reserve/hotel reception. Welcomed by what seems like all of the staff members, who were all super lovely, they talked us through some options as to itinerary. We had already selected some items through the pre-arrival information pack they send out. Do give it a good read and make use of the complimentary activities they provide. We were shown across to our lodge. Perfect - everything you really want, nice and minimal look, with a stunning view out across the valley. The lodges are perfectly distanced so you don't feel like anyone else is nearby. There was a lovely bottle of sparkles and other bits to welcome us in the room with a note congratulating us on getting married. We popped back over to the main reception where my wife went off for a massage, and i was introduced to our e-bikes and had a good explore. We had a picnic in our room that evening that the Hotel delivered up, with charcuterie etc. The terrace outside the lodge was a perfect spot to enjoy that with a glass of something. We then met up with our guide for a night time wander of the reserve. Please do this, the guide is a charming man, very soft natured and full of knowledge. a lovely chap to speak with. There is a very thoughtful surprise on this walk, - was possibly the highlight of the stay. The following day after a great breakfast we pottered about and relaxed on the terrace again reading, then headed down to Casa Luigi for some lovely rustic food. Perfect spot for lunch, and the cycle back to the lodge means you don't feel too guilty about trying most things on the menu... The waiter made some recommendations and timed the food nicely, as we ordered a few different bits and pieces as wanted to share. We spent a few hours in the sun by the lake, and splashed about on a kayak for half an hour. Dinner in the le Felci restaurant was fab. A 'small' lasagna followed by the Florentine steak. Despite this being our honeymoon, it also happened to be my birthday on that final night, and out came the team with a chocolate cake (kindly planned by my wife). If you want to switch off, relax, potter about, do some things/activities but don't feel rushed, not be looking at your phone, enjoy the surroundings of the woodlands, sit on a hillside and just watch out across and admire the stunning views - then this is perfect. We didn't want to leave and certainly want to come back.

We spent our honeymoon at OasyHotel in the Tuscan mountains, and it was an experience beyond anything we could have imagined! From the moment we arrived, we were so well looked after, with every detail thoughtfully taken care of. The team’s hospitality made us feel truly special, and they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The location is breathtaking—surrounded by nature and wildlife, it felt like a secluded paradise. Waking up to the sounds of nature and exploring the beautiful scenery was a dream. The peaceful setting allowed us to completely relax and unwind, and it felt like a true escape from the world. OasyHotel has set the bar incredibly high for any future trips. It was the perfect blend of luxury, nature, and personalised care, making our honeymoon an unforgettable experience. We can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking for a unique and magical getaway in Tuscany!

Came here for 4 nights and felt we’d been away for ages as there is so much to do and yet the setting is so relaxing in the middle of stunning countryside. The cabin is quite simple but comfortable. The only negative is there is no air-conditioning although, at the time of our visit even though it was 38ºc at midday in Florence, because the hotel is high up in the hills it was a good 10º lower so probably isn’t needed much and also all the windows have insect screens on them so can get a good breeze. You get an e-bike on arrival and there are cycling and walking trails through beautiful forests and even a ‘wellness route’ of 30 special trees to sit under! They provide lots of activities like yoga, kayaking on the lake or nature walks even at night and the staff were all fantastic. The most important thing though for me was the food. I can’t eat lactose or gluten and have quite a strict diet but they couldn’t have been more helpful or flexible, and all the staff were aware before I told them. There was always gluten free bread at every meal and they were happy to modify what was on the menu to cater for me. It was also very delicious and to a high standard.

This place is amazing! We visited with our family and had been much more than we expected! The forest is breathtaking, the lodges are just perfect, the people are welcoming, the food really tasty and everything has been thought out. Very relaxing atmosphere, it provides the place and time to connect with nature and loved ones. The Manager Federico is exceptional, this place wouldn’t be the same without him.

Describing our experience is truly effortless as it was a rare and remarkable encounter. The expansive and unspoiled natural surroundings, the diverse wildlife, the admirable principles, the dedicated individuals involved, and the hardworking team at Oasyhotel make it a truly exceptional gem, especially in Italy. Its range of services, activities, historical background, philanthropic endeavors, and future development plans all combine to turn short and extended stays into a uniquely dreamlike experience. It was heartwarming to discover that there are individuals and organizations committed to such noble causes. This place should serve as a model to emulate for many in Italy and beyond. A heartfelt thank you and deep appreciation go out to all the individuals - both staff and managers - who are the driving force behind this enterprise, whether in the realm of hospitality or charity. A wonderful Italian early summer was spent here with my small family. The lodge sleeps 3 of us comfortably. Our lodge looks into the valley and each day we are greeted by chirping and singing of the birds. (They provide ear buds for this if you want to sleep in.) We have a complimentary activity each day we are here. They include bushcraft, orienteering, foraging, special walk into tbe night. Free e-bikes are provided to move around tho I prefer to walk off the food I come to love about this property. Against a gentle advice that we actually won't need to bring snacks in cos tbe food here will be more than adequate (we are here four nights and days); I shld have heeded it. We love each dish we ate here. Nothing fell short. Every flavour and execution is par excellent. Compliments to Daniel and Emmanuel. The team of staff here is nothing short of excellent. They are polite and attentive. Tho we are here early in the season, they did not let up with slack discipline and kept to each duty diligently. I am already recommending this property among my circle of friends. They are bowled over by tbe range of activites available. U won't be bored here. Feel free to come in and log out fr the world.

I spent a week at Oasyhotel with my daughter for some get away time. The hotel was a spectacular find. Set in 1000 hectares of Tuscan forest. The lodges are minimal and comfortable with great balconies to read. There are numerous adventures to be had, including four cycle tracks (you’re given bikes on arrival) kayaking, night walking, orienteering or yoga. We had a great morning on the cheese making course. But, saving the best for last, the staff are incredible!! A totally 5-star experience, they could not have done more to make us welcome, with huge smiles, and genuine desire to make our stay a good one. We’ll be back.
