A welcoming host, an excellent cook, a magnificent place – the perfect place to recharge after a day of sightseeing in the surrounding area. Just 1.5 hours from Pisa and Florence, this location is ideal. Many thanks again to Barbara for the warm welcome we received.

We had a great time! Beautiful place, surrounded by nature. Great for getting away from the hectic life of the city.. We also brought our dog who immediately felt at home 😊 The owner, Barbara, an exquisite person.. Professional, helpful and smiling! The apartments are clean, comfortable and well-kept, as is the whole garden and swimming pool! We will definitely be back!

Barbara è un ospite perfetto, sempre disponibile che ti fa, comunque, sentire a tuo agio. Alla struttura non manca nulla ma il reale valore aggiunto è la costante presenza della proprietaria! Comoda e rinfrescante la piscina durante le ore più calde, eccellente accoglienza per i grandi e piccoli "cuccioli" per i quali non mancano gli spazi e le pertinenze adeguate. Questo aspetto per chi viaggia con degli animali in famiglia è, assolutamente, da non sottovalutare perché, quella dello Scacco Matto non è una accoglienza solo di facciata. P.S.
