Mara Laguna Suites

The balcony was nice to have but it was very noisy. The master was large, the second bedroom wasn't very spacious. It was nice having 2 bathrooms. The living room furniture wasn't the most comfortable. The TV was difficult to figure out how to get to regular channels vs streaming channels. There was a handy book with channel listings and other helpful information. It would be even more helpful to have a page on how to get to the cable channels. We lost electricity several times during our 8 day stay. The longest it was off was a little more than an hour. There is a place across the street where they are dumping the sorgasm so it gets a little stinky but only if we were downwind. There was only 1 beach towel in each bathroom; with 4 guests, it would have been nice to have 4 beach towels. The pool was nice. Having security was also a plus. The place where the key is kept is a little cumbersome. You need 2 hands to get the keys out. Onsight laundry was very convenient. The Rice and Bean Deli across the street makes great Fry Jacks and the lattes are great at The Farmhouse.

These are owned by different people so this review is for F302!! This place was amazing! The place truly felt like HOME. There are two coffee shops across the street from property ( walking distance) This location had furniture, the pots/pans, full kitchen WITH a W/D, blow dryer, utensils and even towels for the beach!! The view from balcony is great and you must swing in the hammock.. a must!!! This place had everything!! The pool is on property as well!!! We will be staying at F302 on future vacations! Cons- I have none

The area is quiet and has a family atmosphere. The location is central to amenities and is well maintained. The staff is courteous and professional. They were always in contact with us to meet any needs. Will definitely be back next time!

Mara Laguna offers a great stay with the comfort and privacy of having an entire house to yourself, along with a nice scenic view. However, the experience was dampened by the presence of animal feces in the backyard and rooftop area. It would have been much better if the property had been properly cleaned before our arrival.

Our condo was on the third (top) floor overlooking a saltwater lagoon. The trip up the stairs was serious exercise for us old folks, but the condo was nicely laid out and well furnished. There was a guard on duty at all times on the main gate and everyone was very friendly and pleasant. There was a balcony the length of the condo and we enjoyed watching a large crocodile swimming in the lagoon. The condo was north of town, maybe a ten minute golf car ride.

Very safe place. Security at the entrance is nice. Views of the ocean and the lagoon keep it interesting. Crocs in the lagoon! Vacasa staff very helpful. Iguanas are entertaining. Sunrises beautiful. Bring insect repellent. It’s a bit of a walk to the beach restaurants but completely doable.

We had a fantastic week here, which seems to depend entirely on which suite you book, based on the range of reviews. F201 overlooked the laguna, with the resident crocs, and came well equipped with two bedrooms (one with ensuite), family bathroom, comfortable lounge, kitchen, dining area and sit-up breakfast bar, and full water dispenser. There was a veranda running along the length of the unit and accessed from both bedrooms and the lounge / dining area. It also came with a washing machine and tumble dryer, and beach towels, despite the booking agent telling us it did not have any of those (hence the 4 stars and not 5). It is very easy to find just over the bridge from San Pedro town centre, and we enjoyed renting a golf cart to get around, even though there is a store and coffee shop close by the apartment.

Nice place for family or multi couples. 2 big balconies, spacious living accommodations. Clean and across street from fresh market and grocery convenience. Not ideal for walking into city or to beaches, better for golf cart access. Safe place to stay. Security at front door. Pool area nice, and grounds are well kept. Would stay there again. Stayed in Jan 2022 Judy hubby and I. Good prices for all the space you get. Check out Vacasa webpage (or app) for better priced bookings, they made the process personable and easier for any questions we had along the way.
