The Watermark Hotel

The rooms were nice, but the hotel in general seemed old. Wind could blow into my closed window and hit the drapes. Water from the rain can into the patio door a wet the bottom of my drapes.

The receptionist was great, check in was quick and was very informative about the perks of this hotel. The woman was able to tell me the ins and outs on the island and gave us the best spots to eat! Every recommendation was spot on! They also have parking! The view is nice and the bartenders are great at the rooftop. the boutique next door is where i got all my goodies from and they gave me a discount for staying at the hotel! it was such a great stay!

My stay at the Watermark was nothing but amazing from the time I booked my stay. The communication between me and the staff was very timely. The accommodations that were made for me even when I chose to extend my stay were greatly appreciated. Yal at the front desk was such a joy and very helpful. The location of the hotel was perfect and not too far from anything. The staff in the rooftop bar were great as well. I will definitely be returning.

The staff at this hotel is wonderful. Helpful with directions and suggestions for things to do. The hotel is in a good location, away from the chaos of downtown, but close enough to get there easily by golf cart. The hotel itself felt like it wasn't finished. It definitely didn't feel like a newer hotel. It seemed pretty worn with rust on the elevator doors and scuffed up walls. Our bed was extremely comfortable, so that's always a plus. But the room felt empty, with little decor. It wasn't inviting. The ocean view rooms are ocean view, and an empty lot view. I'm not sure why the hotel developers didn't buy the lot directly behind the hotel, and make a nice garden area. But it's an empty lot that has become a dumping ground. It's not attractive at all. The rooftop restaurant and bar are nice. Good drinks, service, and food when you don't feel like going out. There's also a little market next door to pick up items you may need. If you aren't super picky, this is probably a decent hotel for the price. But we actually expected more from reading the other reviews before we booked it.

Watermark Hotel in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, the service alone is worth the stay! Nancy, Danny, Trammy, and Elias truly made our trip unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, they treated us like family. They kept us laughing the whole time, made sure the drinks were always flowing, and introduced us to some absolutely amazing oxtail that we’re still talking about. What stood out most was how much they genuinely cared about our experience. They took the time to recommend great places to visit, things to do around Belize, and made sure we were enjoying every moment. As a first-time visitor to Belize, that kind of hospitality made a huge difference. Their energy, friendliness, and attention to detail turned a great vacation into an incredible one. Huge thank you to Nancy, Danny, Trammy, and Elias for making our Belize experience so memorable. My stay at Watermark Hotel was absolutely wonderful. The customer service was outstanding from the moment I arrived, and the rooms were extremely clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The restaurant was amazing, with delicious food and a great atmosphere. I would especially like to recognize Mireisy at the front desk, who was incredibly helpful, professional, and welcoming throughout my stay. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return

The hotel was very nice and clean.The staff were lovely- very helpful with information and booking tours and transport. It is a little bit away from town, but that means quieter. There are cafes and restaurants close by. It has a nice rooftop bar, with a pool.It is under utilized.

Loved the hotel and the people who work there! Hated not having a beach area!
