The whole place had a classic, old time feel to it. Bar Verde was a nice surprise. The turntable playing vinyl records helped to create a cozy, nostalgic vibe. The highlight for me was swimming in the thermal pools at night. Floating under the stars in the warm water was something both magical and special. If you’re looking to unwind, take in the beautiful scenery and enjoy a bit of old world charm, this place is worth the visit."

"The hotel was beautiful and the staff was very accommodating. We also loved the restaurant and the location. We were, however, very disappointed is our spa experience. Here is what happened: We were supposed to have a 2 hour romantic experience with 50 minute couples massage and an hour with prosecco in the hot tub. What we got was 2 30 minute massages separately, because only one masseuse was available and then an hour together in the hot tub. We received no reimbursement for the reduced massage, because we were offered two separate 50 minutes massages with SEPARATE time with prosecco and the hot tub. And, that is the spa's definition of a romantic experience?"

"We were not staying at the hotel but reserved a table on the terrace for lunch. We came mainly for the uninterrupted view of the Tuscan countryside as the hotel is at the edge of San Quirico but only a short walk from the old town centre. We weren't expecting too much of the food and service as some of the reviews posted here were a bit negative but we needn't have worried. The view was indeed lovely but the food and the service were also outstanding, as was the friendly welcome from the hotel manager. We started with one plate of local cheese, ham and salami which was excellent quality, and more than large enough for two as a starter. The bread was served with local extra virgin organic olive oil. The main courses were equally good, my husband had the roast chicken and I had the lamb chops which were so good that we went back two days later and I had the same meal again. Our waiter Carmelo was friendly and chatty and he and the manager both looked after us very well. All in all this was an excellent choice for lunch and the meal and the wine were very good value. Highly recommended."

"I have been going for holidays and short breaks at Hotel La Posta for over 35 years. That alone is testament to this little piece of paradise. I went on to book rooms today and was heartbroken to find that children are no longer welcome at the hotel. My daughter learned to swim in the pool at La Posta and I was hoping that my grand daughter would also be able to learn there. I am sure there will be many guests who are only too happy not to see any children but without children we have no future. I don't know if the Casa Costa Foundation no longer supports children."

"This B&B is amazing. From the staff, to the room, to the food, to the super cute village, it was everything I had hoped for and more. My room was the perfect size, clean, comfortable bed and pillows with a cute view from the window. It was quiet at night so sleeping was great! I truly loved the village, great little shops, the restaurants were delicious and the sights were great. I do recommend having a car to explore the neighboring towns but if not, their driver Lorenzo was wonderful! I didn't get to try the spa but heard it was fantastic. I'll do that on my next visit! I think the price was great for everything you're getting and especially the super helpful and kind staff. Highly recommend the Capitano Collection."

"Nice and relaxing place. this is the second time at this hotel and it's really good! Wake up in the morning with a fantastic view over the valley. Very clean hotell and a nice swimming pool. You need to were a shower cap and that was very positive, no hair or other stuff in the pool. Easy and good breakfast the Italian way and the best coffee! A very good restaurant in the building next door The hotel is just a couple of minutes walk from one of the nicest small towns in Tuscany, San Quirico d ´Orcia. Beautiful village! Also very close to Pienza, Montallchino and other great cities to visit. Will highly recommend a stay here!"
