Alojamiento El Salvador: Villa Madero - Hotel Boutique

1. This is an old family villa that cannot be called a hotel; at best, it's a guest house or homestay. 2. There is no hot water for showers, and the drain is clogged. The room has no air conditioning—it's stuffy and has a strange odor. Outside the window, there are many plants and flowers, allowing insects to fly inside. Bugs can often be found crawling around the room and even on the bed. 3. The room is too old, and the facilities are severely outdated and prone to problems. When I turned on the faucet to shower, it got stuck and wouldn't close. The landlord replaced it with a new one and made me pay $25, claiming it happened while I was showering. I found it ridiculous—I've stayed in many hotels, but this is the first time I've encountered such a strange situation. 4. The electric fan and TV are very old. I advise fellow guests to avoid using them if possible. Otherwise, if they break, you might have to pay hundreds of dollars in compensation. Better not to invite trouble for yourself.

Very nice place, located in safe, peaceful area of San Salvador. Staffs are extremely helpful and kind. Breakfast were also good, but the most is that inside the hotel is very clean, fashionable. I really want to stay again!!

Place was really lost, not easy to find, old man attendance, was very rude, wanted a picture of my passport when I gave him my California real ID. He was giving a very bad attitude, and made me give a $20.00 dollars deposit for a key, which in my life never at any place, no one i had to paid a deposit. The sound of traffic in the morning is very loud, beds and restrooms we're not clean, toilet in our room was been used by someone else it had feces leftovers, very disgusting. Awful plce.

The staff here were excellent, and the parking was very convenient and safe and the breakfast was delicious. They worked with us to get us the perfect room and were quick and timely with letting us in and out.

The staff were really nice and accommodating! I believe it is a good experience for the price point. The Air Conditioning worked very well.

The breakfast was perfect! The rooms were clean and it had multiple selections on the tv. Of course in spanish. This place was peaceful and well cared for. We felt extremely safe. When you get there it takes you right to a gate. Honk your horn and the secuity will let you in. Thank you, Mario!
