I stayed at this hotel for six nights and found it to be in a very safe area. The building ifself was clean and well-maintained. The breakfast provided was enjoyable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating.

The waiter's attitude was good. But the facilities are so poor. My deluxe double room was provided with the lowest price on the first day. After adjusting the room the next day, there was no hot water for taking a shower. I wiped it with cold water and caught a cold. If you have enough budget, it is not recommended to order.

The hotel is located in a relatively upscale region of San Salvador. There is a restaurant on the first floor. The house appears to have once been a mansion, and nowadays it functions as a hotel + restaurant. The rooms are spacious, but the furniture leaves a little to be desired.

挺值得推薦,距離機場非常遠,但是距離市中心非常方便,可以步行。周圍雖然沒有多少餐廳,不過步行去市中心有很多選擇。

My stay here was unfortunately quite disappointing. When I arrived, there was no explanation about how things worked — no information about the Wi-Fi, breakfast, the pool, the restaurant, or even how the front door operated. I had to ask twice whether the main door was locked at night and was finally told it stays open at all times, which made me feel unsafe. One evening around 9 p.m., someone tried to open my door. It may have been a child, as there were groups of children running and shouting in the hallways, but it was still unsettling as a solo female traveler. Noise was also a major issue. Extremely loud music played from around 6 p.m. until 1 a.m., and even with headphones and white noise at full volume, I could not block it out. Then, between 1 and 2 a.m. — and again around 5 a.m. — I could hear chairs being dragged across the floor. I only managed to sleep for about two hours. Check-in was also quite confusing and slow. My reservation clearly showed that a first payment had already been made, but the staff insisted on charging me the full amount. Several phone calls were made before this was clarified, which made the process very stressful. I understand this is a Spanish-speaking country and do not expect everyone to speak English, but it would help a lot if the staff used a translation app or provided a simple printed sheet with basic information in English for foreign guests. But everyone was super nice

Lovely little spot. Great food, friendly staff. Only problem was sound insulation, the walls seemed very thin.

Staying at Volcano Hostal was like stepping into a home away from home. From the moment I arrived (and even before I got there), the staff knew me by name. Gloria recognized me right away from our phone call, and every single team memberm(Francisco, Valeria, Doña Milagro, Doña Jenny, Ana, and Gabriel) made me feel like a VIP. They truly go out of their way, day or night, to help with anything you need and treat you with genuine warmth and respect. My room by the pool was super private and comfortable. Every time it was cleaned, I came back to fresh sheets, a great scent, and all the essentials like air conditioning, WiFi, and a TV you can connect your laptop to. The pool area is a lovely spot to relax, and the location is fantastic, just a short walk from MetroCentro, restaurants, and everything else you might need. And for those concerned about hot water, welcome to El Salvador! Most places here don’t have piping hot water because the climate is warm year-round, so it’s just part of the local experience. If you’re looking for a big chain hotel, this isn’t it. But if you want a hidden gem with an incredible staff who make you feel like family, this is the place to be.

We had the familial room with 6 beds (space for 8). Plus : very large room, huge bathroom Cons : not very clean, we had no pillowcase on the main bed, shower was dirty, TV not working, bedroom has a window communicating with reception / straircase area (window that cannot close) : very noisy and lots of light coming drom there. We stayed 2 nights and the pool was in treatment and getting cleaned, we could only use it on the last day before leaving... even though, it wasnt really clean. Looks like an hotel that is not really welll driven, and with not really friendly staff that are not that pleased to work there... Ok, but not great.
