Don't go to this place. One star hostel trying to pass off as a three star hotel. They will nickel and dime you for everything. Staff is horrible, owners even worse. The owner Mauricio will knock on your door telling you to be quiet for watching tv. Their rules are draconian: 10pm curfew, no food/drink in your room, have to ask permission to leave/enter, breakfast at 8am or else (even if already paid for). No laundry service, no room cleaning, no extra towels etc. Staff washes their own clothes and sheets by hand and hang up to dry all over the terraces meant for guests. Give this place a hard pass.

I'll leave a detailed review in both English and spanish to spread awareness among future persons who are considering this TERRIBLE place. Dejaré una reseña detallada en inglés y español para advertir a futuras personas que quieran considerar este TERRIBLE lugar. English: My experience at this hotel, which seems like an adapted house, was extremely disappointing from the start. During check-in, the staff—possibly the owners—looked at us with disdain and unnecessarily demanded passports, implying that arriving by land made us "less valid" as tourists. There wasn't a shred of empathy or kindness. The rules are absurd and restrictive: you have to announce every departure, eating or drinking in the rooms is prohibited, and to use the refrigerator or allow any food inside, they charge an extra $25. Parking costs $5, with the implicit condition of "don't go out too much." And the worst: a curfew at 10 pm, as if it were a boarding school rather than a hotel. The breaking point came at 10:20 pm, after an intense storm that left us soaked. I arrived with my mother, an elderly person with health issues, and no one responded: they didn't open the door, answer calls or messages. We had to seek shelter in a budget hotel near a bus terminal—the only option available during peak vacation week, with everything booked solid—leaving our belongings behind and a fully paid reservation. The next day, the apologies via WhatsApp were superficial and evasive: just excuses like "we're a small hotel" and reminders of the rule, without taking any real responsibility. This ended up with my mother coming down with a bad cold from the exposure. The place offers basic amenities that don't justify the price, with slow internet and a location that's not as central as advertised. More than a hotel, it feels like an adult daycare with oppressive rules. Recommendation: Avoid it completely. It's not worth the stress or the money.

I would not recommend this hotel at all. They have way too many unnecessary rules that make your stay uncomfortable. The showers only had cold water, no hot water at all. Laundry service is extremely expensive, and most of the time it was “closed” anyway, so you couldn’t even use it. On top of that, they don’t allow you to keep the room key, which is very inconvenient and makes you feel like you’re not trusted. Overall, not worth the money.

Stayed on El Beso side and Emmanuel was the activities /pool events person . He came up to our group of 4 and was very friendly and got us to do some games . It started to downpour after but he hung out with us and told us about a bunch of stuff to do at resort and just about Dominican in general Super friendly , professional and personality is great ! Go find him if there!

Room very small like a walking closet, extremely hot NO AC, with only an oscillating ceiling fan, bathroom hallway shared with other people dirty and with wet floors, if going out to leave room key with them, not able to arrive after 10:00 pm, front door locked, visitors only to stay certain times in the day.extremely dissatisfied and disappointed never ever to comeback.
