Very nice location of apartment. Convenient option to walk by foot to city centre.

The pension is easy to find, and staff are very helpful. Beds are comfortable; coffee and tea are available; everything is clean. The only difficulty might be is there is only one bathroom for all the guests. We were here in low season, so didn't have much difficulty, but I can imagine problems in the high season. The pension is in the old part of San Sebastian, so visiting the most picturesque parts is easy, as is visiting nearby villages. Local food is excellent. I highly recommend this pension; excellent value for your money. It's the best base for exploring this part of the Basque Country.

I’m really sorry to have to write a bad review because the Manager Rony was so kind to us but I have to be honest. We accidentally booked into this Pension for 2 nights in what was described as a ‘luxury room’ and we left after only 1 night because the accommodation was so bad. The ‘pension’ hostel is in fact just a small apartment divided into 3 multiple occupancy bedrooms with three beds in each (I believe) with a single shower 🚿 for the whole Pension, that does’t actually work properly (the head is furred up) and has crap water pressure, a single WC in the bathroom as well as mould on the bathroom ceiling. With up to 9 people in the Pension needing the toilet or shower together at peak times the wait can be uncomfortable and I’m not a fan of ‘hot seating’ toilets after others especially when the other ‘guests’ are grungy and don’t clean the toilet after crapping in it. The beds are like camp beds with soft uncomfortable foam ‘mattresses’ and the room desperately needs redecorating, with suspicious stains and marks all over the walls which, I was surprised to see at the start of the season, when a 20 Euro can of white paint and a few hours work could easily remedy this. It shows a lack or care and a lack of maintenance that turns me off the idea of Pensions like these which are clearly run as ‘cash cows’ rather than for the true comfort of their guests. If you don’t mind ‘grungy living’ then you will be happy here I’m sure, but if you have any standards at all above the most basic you won’t be happy at all, especially as you will be parting with still large sums of money that are ‘non refundable’ if you are disappointed like us. Naturally I’ll be taking that up with *********** when I get home and asking for a 50 % refund. My advice would be - do yourself a favour and stay out of the old town in one of the cheaper hotels as it’s cleaner and less noisy albeit a little more expensive than the ‘pension’ rooms that clutter the old town.

The place is very clean and located in a nice neighborhood, close to all the popular pintxo bars. The atmosphere is great, and the owner is really kind. I’d definitely come back again.

If you are looking for a place to sleep and an excellent location for a cheaper price than the surrounding hotels, this is a great option! However, I had not stayed in a pension before and I didn’t realize that we would be sharing a bathroom with 5-6 other people. The workers were polite, professional and accommodating! They provided coffee, tea and water.

The proprietor was very nice and helpful. The room had 3 twin beds a d there's a shared bathroom. Nice amenities!

Had a lovely stay and the pension was so central. Park house very near and had a long walk along the sea front in the evening. Overall a great experience and would stay there again.

This tidy little pensión is coveniently located in the middle of city center / old town. The room is comfortably appointed and features a window looking out over the busy walk street. The shared bathroom was large and clean at all times. There is a microwave and a small refrigerator available for leffovers. The host is communicative, kind and responsive.
