The Morgan San Simeon - Cambria by Hearst Castle Reviews

Stayed at this hotel as we wanted to see the elephant seals in the area. Must say we were pleasantly surprised, the hotel was very nice. We arrived late in the evening and the gentleman on reception welcomed us warmly, advised us about the complimentary continental breakfast full of information. There is no lift at the hotel but we only went us one flight of stairs to our spacious ocean view bedroom. Not a modern hotel but very clean and comfy with tea and coffee machine just what we needed. Continental Breakfast was nice something for everyone. Felt like a lovely family friendly hotel would definitely recommend and would stay again 🙂

A cute hotel, I only stayed there for a night. Checked in late at night and checked out early morning. The staffs there were nice.

The Morgan Hotel is a comfortable hotel, perfectly situated for visitors to the Hearst Castle. The room and bathroom were clean, bed was comfortable, and amenities adequate for an overnight stay. The breakfast was basic but appropriate for the price.

This hotel is located in a small town, right next to the Pacific Ocean, offering stunning views. There are Mexican and American restaurants nearby, and the food is quite good.

It's just a regular motel, a bit old, but the reception was nice, and the location is convenient, very close to the castle and Elephant Seal Beach.

The room was exceptionally spacious, with a dedicated dressing table, well-organized layout, and comfortable to use; the details revealed its exquisite craftsmanship. We checked in at the beginning of October, and to our surprise, the fireplace in the room was actually on, providing a very warm and cozy feeling.

Overall, it was pretty good. The hotel is close to the beach, but it's a bit old and the breakfast is rather simple.

The hotel is located next to Highway 1, and it's quite clean and quiet. Perhaps because I stayed on the beach side, it was a two-story building with a Mexican style. There's a Mexican restaurant right next door. The front desk service was very good; they helped me with ordering takeout and how to get to the beach. It's very close to Hearst Castle and Elephant Beach, and parking is easy. There's no elevator, so carrying luggage was a little tiring. There's a main building and a side building; you can check in first and then move your luggage. The fireplace was quite interesting, and the room had a carbon monoxide alarm. The landscaping was nice. Breakfast was a bit simple, but considering the room rate wasn't expensive, I was overall satisfied.

Near the castle in San Simeon, next to a beachfront resort hotel, it's a very American-style hotel. We drove from San Francisco to LA and passed by this hotel. We arrived late at night, and there weren't many restaurants around. It was alright.

This hotel is quite conveniently located along Highway 1. It's very quaint and not a fancy hotel. You can rest there for a while before continuing your journey.
