Anna who happened to be there helping out while where were there (and she was very helpful as well with ideas about skiing on the mountain). Everyone that works here is very affable. You could tell that there was a tremendous amount of thought given to this hotel through and through. The rooms were very comfortable, windows with great views, great location, ski on, ski out. The water pressure here is great, and you can drink the water right out of the sink: it’s delicious. The restaurant downstairs, Theo's, was excellent, and in fact, we ate there twice. And if you go, tell Oliver we said hello. Service was impeccable, and food was delicious. Every morning, they had a great breakfast ready for you, and then in the afternoon came different kinds of cakes and strudels and donuts and home-made chocolate chip cookies waiting for you. The spa downstairs was shockingly as nice as a great spa that you would just visit for the amenities! They've got two saunas and a steam room, and obviously they spent a lot of money on the it: It all worked perfectly and the hardest part is now staying in too long. They also have a game room downstairs, where you can have your own beer out of the tap. Free parking. They have a ski storage area, so you don't have to have your stuff in the room. You just go downstairs. And you put on your ski boots, take them off of the heated rack, and off you go. If you're an epic pass-holder you can use it at St. Anton, as long as you stay, I believe, four nights at this hotel, which to tell you the truth, was too short anyway! We would have loved to have stayed longer. So without a doubt, this place is a five-star across the board, and thank you, Anna, for making our stay so special. We look forward to when we come back, and we will for sure stay right here again!

Spacious rooms, especially for a ski resort, where you can’t normally swing a cat (not that I’d ever want to). All staff were very polite, friendly and accommodating. They worked hard to look after us and enjoyed seeing us have fun. Tasty, wholesome food and decent wine selection. Outstanding bar and restaurant staff. Great lounge next to bar with sports on TV and games room. Ideal for a large group, but would also be good for families and couples.

A hotel without that nice cozy feeling you are looking for when skiing in the alps. This hotel is a 4-star establishment but we would rate it as a 3 star. We booked a suite and ended up in the basement, poor daylight and anything but charming. The owner’s personal stuff and garbage(?) outside the small windows. Mattresses in a pile thrown right beside the entrance to the room. We asked the receptionist if the hotel really considered this a suite as we really did not. We managed to change rooms but ended up paying a lot more for that. And if we wanted to use the kitchen we would have to pay even more. Breakfast ok but nothing special, the same as in any 3- star hotel. No lobby to hang out in. We do not recommend this hotel. Not good value for money.

The beds in this hotel are amazingly comfortable. The breakfast is simple but perfect. The staff are very nice and on those days when your legs are tired and you don’t want to walk to a restaurant, the on site restaurant Theo’s is good. The location is off the beaten track so very quiet but walkable to most areas for both restaurants and ski rental. The rooms were simple but had everything you need , robes, kettle , TV and for us, the temp Of the rooms were perfect. Would Definitely recommend!!

A very very nice experience staying here for a few days, walking in the mountains. Location is good with a short walk to town center, rooms are clean and breakfast was over expectation. But the best with Arlen Lodge is the land lady. Charming and amazing is not enough words describing the very helpful Anna-Lisa running this hotel. Whatever you want or need to know about the surroundings she will know, and happily assist you. And...dont forget to ask her to mix a drink! Love to get back:)

In late June and early July, we had the please of visiting the beautiful town of St. Anton. The Arlen Lodge was absolutely perfect! The rooms were incredibly spacious, the beds were super comfortable, and the service was impeccable! The lodge is located in a wonderful location - just a few minutes walk to town and a five minute walk to Ruetz (a delicious bakery). I cannot say enough about how lovely our hotel experience was at Arlen Lodge! From the delicious breakfast to the amazing owner, who not only provided us with suggestions on the best places to visit in the area but also assisted us in booking additional travel throughout Austria and into Italy, our experience at Arlen Lodge was top notch. I am a very picky traveler and I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Such a perfect perfect place to stay!

Beautiful place to stay, very accommodating and within walking distance to everything. Not familiar with the area? Not to worry. The lodge host will help plan amazing and precise journeys for you, based on your desires and level of experience, which is highly recommended. Breakfast was perfectly set up with fresh breads, rolls, fruits and accompaniments. Fresh eggs and bacon prepared to your liking, definitely has something for the whole family and everything needed to start your day. Room was very comfortable, providing an amazing nights sleep.

Magical! We arrived at the Arlen Lodge Hotel after a five-hour train trip from Vienna. The landscape along the route was breathtakingly beautiful. Anne Marie welcomed us at the reception. She arranged for our ski tickets (at cost) and we had booked rentals at a small discount through a lodge preferred vendor that worked out well. During our stay we ate several meals at the lodge's restaurant Theo's. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. I particularly enjoyed the cheese fondue with lots of fixings and the nice large lasagna. For fun there is a beer wall on the lower level, but I prefer a nice glass of their wine. We spoke to both Anna Lisa (the very engaging, US educated proprietor) and her mother Anna about where to ski. Both are highly accomplished athletes and can give great recommendations depending on conditions. On a sunny day if you are looking for a mellow time - head to the Rendl lift. If you are bombing around the main mountains and you want one of those legendary Michelin star worthy lunches that you have been told about head to Faxbau in Stuben. We were surprised but Austrian's reserve for dinner so you will generally need to make reservations. We had not and the Arlen Lodge graciously seated us at Theo's when we turned up although they were full. The Arlene Lodge is ski in and ski out, near the Nasserein gondola. There are several gondolas in St Anton. The Nasserein gondola is on the quieter end of town which makes it easier and less crowded to get onto the slopes quickly. The Gampen gondola, at the busier end of St Anton, was so crowded it looked like a rock concert was going on. Before you go, download the Ski Arlberg app and you can see the crowd/wait times at the major lifts. After a long day of skiing, we happily returned each afternoon after a bit of Apres Ski fun to the Arlen Lodge to relax at their spa. I enjoyed the sauna and stretching out with some yoga moves while my husband is more of a steam room person. There was also fresh fruit and fruit infused water to enjoy. Our room and bathroom were well proportioned, recently renovated, neat and clean. The day we were to depart we checked out early after the delicious included breakfast (something for everyone- eggs, sausage, bacon, cereal, cheese, pastries, pancakes, fresh fruit, breads, coffee, juice, etc.) and hit the slopes. Returning at the end of the day before our 5pm train back to Vienna we were offered a "late checkout shower" in a large private bathroom near the spa - fantastic to refresh before a long train ride. Needless to say, we look forward to skiing the Arlberg and staying at the Arlen Lodge Hotel next season.

We stayed in Arlen Lodge Hotel for a week, and enjoyed every second of it! The staff was incredibly welcoming and warm, making us feel like we were family. Annalisa, the hotel owner, is the most caring host I have ever had the pleasure to meet, listening to all our needs, helping us with every little thing that would make our holiday better, without hesitation, and with a huge smile =) That experience alone was enough to make us want to come back again. Breakfast was perfect, everything you need before hitting the slopes. Rich and tasteful, we never left unsatisfied. With clean and comfy rooms, bathroom with lots of towels, hot water 24/7, we slept like babies. After every day of skiing we went to relax in the Sauna and relaxation room - definitely a must. At night we would go to Theo's sports bar to hang out, drink some beer and play pool. The food in the Restaurant is really good and the staff there is so very kind. The only reservation we had when we booked the hotel was the location which seemed to be a bit far from the center. That concern quickly faded as a short ski-out path to the Nasserein lift was making it easy to head out in the mornings (even though it's a short 7 min walking distance); and with Keller Bar and a very good restaurants we're just around the corner - we didn't feel like we needed to go anywhere else. To sum things up - our experience at Arlen Lodge was beyond our expectations and I would more than recommend booking your holiday there! If you do, give a big hug to Annalisa from me ;)
