Vorweg: Das highlight des Hotels ist die Küche. Die Halbpension umfasst ein vorzügliches 4-Gänge-Menue. Zunächst ein Salatbuffet. Aber immer mit Extras, z.B. Käferbohnen in steirischem Kürbikernöl oder Käsespätzle, natürlich selber gemacht. Dann eine Suppe, glasklare Flädlesuppe, Knoblauchsuppe mit Knoblauchcroutons, Petersilienwurzel mit Apfelschäumchen usw. Die Hauptspeise neue deutsche Küche, ständig mit dem gewissen Etwas. Z.B. Hänchenbrust auf Kokospolenta. Für Kinder gibt es auch "klassische" Küche. Köstlich. Glück für das Haus, dass der Koch der Junior ist. Hinzu komnt: Die Lage des Hotels ist für Skifahrer ideal, direkt gegenüber der Talstation. Besser geht nicht. Natürlich nicht für Naturliebhaber, die die einsame Idylle suchen. Die Zimmer sind sauber und ordentlich, no thrills. Persönlich geführt, keine sterile Kette. Sehr aufmerksam, bemüht, nett, individuell, familiär. Kinderfreundlich (inkl. Spielzimmer). Mit liebe zum Detail.
