Beautifully designed and furnished hotel, loved the dinky pool and especially the hammock. The room was really comfortable and well thought out. My highest praise though must go to the professional and thoughtful service and welcome we received. Our host noted we had limited time and gave a thorough and intuitive guide to the town. Exceptional service. Taking everything into account and given the more than fair price I'd highly recommend this wonderful little hotel.

An excellent hotel. Beautiful interior which is kept spotlessly clean. Very comfortable room, good breakfast and above all, Miguel the owner who was both helpful and friendly. The hotel is well situated on the border of the high and low towns with an easy walk to the main square. We love Sanlucar!

This hotel is managed by members of the family that own it and, my word, it shows. The entire team were friendly and helpful but Miguel took customer service to another level. He offered information on restaurants, things to do, Manzanilla and so on but - and this had never happened to me before - also offered us a choice of three rooms, which he showed to us one by one. The hotel is beautifully designed and a very pleasant place to be. Miguel gave us his personal attention when it came to the parking and was happy to discuss Manzanilla at length. We only stayed two nights and I wish we had stayed for three. The breakfasts were perfectly pitched and efficiently served. If you are planning on staying in Sanlúcar, this place should be near the top of your list. In terms of value, it is unbeatable.

This is a wonderful hotel, combining thoughtful design and a peaceful atmosphere. The service is impeccable and the bathroom lovely. I spent many hours in the little garden. This hotel is one of the many reasons to return to Andalusia. Oh yes, and a great breakfast.

Thank you to Miguel, Laura and Rocio for making our stay in Sanlucar so special. ❤️We’d highly recommend staying here! Nothing was too much trouble. We felt so welcomed and well looked after. Lots of little thoughtful details make you feel at home. Breakfast was good. Everything was spotlessly clean. Central location and very good value for money.

This is a minimum 4 star hotel rated as 2 star !! Loveky BOUTIQUE hotel . Lovely people Miguel & Laura . I have written over 350 reviews in over 125 cities / towns and this one is among the best boutique hotel I stayed in . The layout is excellent as a boutique hotel . I love it’s sophisticated simplicity ! We will be back as it was our first time and only stayed a day .

We had our eye on this hotel from a previous visit to Sanlucar, as we liked the look of it and its in a great location.Happy to say it really lived up to our expectations. Super clean, lovely room,(we had a superior) and we paid an extra 10 euros per night for parking, and 8 euros each for breakfast which was very nice. You pick what you want the night before. Communication with the hotel for directions etc was really good, and thorough. All the staff are super helpful, and we got great tips where to eat etc. Once in the hotel, it is so peaceful, and the pool is a lovely addition. We sat in the little courtyard garden and had a dip one afternoon which was so relaxing. Would love to return next year. Sanlucar is a foodies delight, and this lovely hotel made for a really great couple of days at the start of our holiday. We didn't really want to leave! Thankyou!

We really loved the design of this hotel. It has a lovely communal area with a small pool and relaxing lounge area that we should have made more use of. Our Deluxe room was spotless with a huge bathroom. There was just about enough room for our things in the main bedroom, so be aware that the standard rooms might be a bit small for you. We usually get up too late for hotel breakfasts so booked room only. We paid 110 euros per night for the room plus 10 euros for parking. This did bust our budget a bit, but it was great to stay in such a calm and lovely place. Centrally located, this place is great for couples.

I stayed at la Alcoba del Agua on a recent hiking trip. I was on a streak of good luck because it was another excellent hotel on that trip. The property is entirely renovated (and with great taste at that!). I was assigned a lovely room in an annex on the other side of the street. I liked the fact that it was very quiet; it was a nice respite from the centre’s hustle and bustle. The owner and the staff were particularly helpful. They gave me a number of tips about local bars and restaurants; in fact, they have their own internal list of recommended venues. They also got me information about hiking across the coastal part of the Doñana national park. A wonderful address in Sanlucar. They seem to be very busy, so book early!
