Alexandre Hotel Frontair Congress Reviews

The room looked clean, but I was bitten by dust mites. I woke up to a lot of small red bumps on my hands and feet. I've never experienced this in any other hotel in Spain or Italy before. I took pictures and consulted Doubao (an AI assistant) and it confirmed that it might be dust mite bites. The hotel's hygiene seemed fine, so I'm not sure why I got bitten after just one night.

Even though it's a bit far from the city center, this hotel has the best spa, which is exactly why I booked it! It was absolutely heavenly! I'll definitely stay here again! I don't usually take pictures of hotels, so here are some scenic photos instead.

The hotel has a very convenient location close to the airport. A free shuttle service is provided, which is a great advantage. However, finding the airport pickup point was quite difficult because the hotel does not provide precise instructions. For reference, at Barcelona Terminal 1, the shuttle departs from Parking G. The room was clean, although there was a noticeable sewage smell at times. Breakfast was excellent, with a good selection of tasty food. I especially enjoyed the pastries and the guacamole. There is a large hypermarket next to the hotel where you can find everything you might need, and a public transport stop is only a 3-minute walk away. It takes about 50 minutes to reach the city center by public transport. Please note that access to the spa area is not included for all guests. Also, the hotel does not have a shared swimming pool, which I overlooked when booking and was disappointed to discover. The hotel grounds are very large, and getting to the room with luggage involved quite a long walk. Overall, it is a good option for an airport stay, with comfortable rooms, a great breakfast, and convenient transport connections.

Great location and very neat hotel. It is right next to a small shopping center. There are many restaurants around the area and the public transport is just a few walking steps away. The hotel rooms are spacious and have all the necessary amenities. The breakfast and the room service is amazing.

The location is undeniably close to the airport, and the free shuttle service is a major plus. The large supermarket nearby is a great way to experience the daily food and shopping habits of Barcelona locals – it's incredibly huge!

Really liked it! It was very comfortable, and the facilities were great. I'd definitely consider staying here again. The service was excellent, and it was very clean and hygienic. It's also quite close to the subway, making transport super convenient. Plus, there's a huge shopping mall right next door, which was a big bonus. The room itself was spacious and modern.

The gym and spa are good, but there's nothing else around. There's also an €18 buffet that's all-you-can-eat. For Europe, this level of quality is already quite good.

Needing to catch an early morning flight, I decided to stay at a hotel near the airport for a night. The actual experience exceeded my expectations! The hotel offers airport shuttle service, and the room was clean and tidy, although the soundproofing wasn't great. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of delicious options.

This hotel is super comfortable! They offer unlimited shuttle rides to and from the airport, which saved me a lot on taxi fares when I had issues with my luggage.

Room and location was very good. onlu one thing they didn’t allow for early checkin even we pay amount to enter in the pool and lounge.

The hotel is great: conveniently located to the Barcelona Airport, modern and clean and the breakfast is outstanding!  More training or direction is needed for the driver for the shuttle service from the airport.  We were left behind on two shuttle runs and waited for 1.5 hours to finally get picked up.  The shuttle did not arrive in the location we were told to wait, and as he was in a different pick-up point, the driver should have walked to the location where we were or at least called out loudly to be sure he caught the attention of people going to the Alexandre Frontair Congress hotel.  We were terribly disappointed to have to wait so long for the airport transfer.  Also, there was NO Air Conditioning on the shuttle bus in 35 degree temperatures.
