The 3 Dux

The property was the perfect place to stay in downtown Santa barbara. It was quiet and had all the amenities we needed! It was easily within walking distance of state street in the beach. The views were spectacular of the Santa ynez mountains. We will definitely be back!

What we liked: Great location, right next to the happening State Street. Has an on site EV charger. Checkin experience was seamless. Place was quite clean. What we did not like: This is specifically for the Baby Dux room (other 2 rooms would likely not have this issue): There is no separate bedroom, just a studio apartment with a couch that converts into a bed that isn’t too comfortable even with the bed topper. Did not provide proper sleeping pillows, had to use the couch pillows. We felt deceived as the property posted pictures of the entire place and not by specific room type, leading us to believe that we’d actually get a bedroom with a proper bed. I expected more for the high room rate being charged. The washer dryer unit in the bathroom is too large and protruding, making it very crammed to use the toilet. Suggestions to owner: Please post pictures by room type and make it apparent to guests what they’re really getting. Upgrade to a more comfortable couch bed. Provide proper bedtime pillows. Push in the washer dryer unit or get a smaller one. Include some extra toiletries like lotion and make the storage space for the hair dryer more elegant.
