The air conditioning in this hotel was incredibly noisy, waking me up multiple times in the middle of the night. On top of that, the hotel is across from the airport, there's a factory next door with machinery noise late into the night, and a train station just one street further. I don't even know how to describe it. I quickly checked out and moved to another hotel; otherwise, I'd be dealing with insomnia every night.

The rooms and breakfast were both decent. There are also some outdoor games, and parking was very convenient.

The room was very clean and came with a small kitchenette, equipped with a fridge, induction hob, and microwave. Utensils, plates, a small sofa, and a desk were all provided. The stay was very comfortable. Tipping $2 ensures the room is cleaned to an exceptionally high standard. The front desk staff were cheerful and easy to communicate with.

I called before arriving, asking about the bedding. I told them I was traveling with 91 yr. old mother and 67 yr. old sister. I am 71. They offer 1 queen and told me extra double would be very comfortable. It was a pull out couch. When you remove the cushions from sofa, there is a note pasted on the pull out that my sheet are in a bag in the closet. The pull out was metal springs. The bag has a top, bottom sheet and pillow with no case, 1 blanket. It took 5 layers of padding to make it sleepable. All 3 of us left for the entire day and when we arrived to the room at 6:30 p.m. our used towels were still on the floor and trash cans were full. Fresh towels were delivered to our room from the common open area, not thru the hallway. This stay was not what I expected of Marriott Residence Inn at $346.00 per night plus $15.00 per night for parking. Oh and there is a sign before you enter the hallways that tell you if your car is vandalized, Marriott is not responsible. Welcome to California in 2024.

Very nice and cosy place near the airport. Because of that amenities around is in short supply but it is what is it. Only thing I was upset about was I had to pay $5 for wifi which on top of the expensive hotel fee is rather ridiculous.

The room has a kitchen, you can cook, and the kitchenware is clean. The bathroom is white, which looks clean, but the air conditioning and toilet facilities are very old. The air conditioning faces the big bed and is covered with thick dust. Fortunately, it doesn't need to be turned on in this season. I originally booked here to wash and dry clothes, but the washing machine and dryer were too dirty and I didn't dare to use them. It was not quiet at night, there was a factory noise, and the sound of planes taking off and landing was quite loud at dawn. The parking lot charges $15 a day. The overall stay experience was average.

Overall it's good. You can cook. It's suitable for families. The hotel is big and the breakfast is good. It's not far from UCSB. Overall, I'm very satisfied. I'll come back if I have the opportunity.

The hotel has an American buffet breakfast, but there are few varieties. The American standard is scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, fried meat patties, bread slices, bagels, etc. There is nothing to visit around the hotel, and you need a car to travel. It is not far from the Pink Church and other attractions or the beach, and it takes more than 10 minutes by taxi.
