ITH hostel at Santa Barbara turns out to be the surprise highlight of my trip at Santa Barbara. There are daily activities organised by host and staffs, helping travellers to enjoy their time during the stay or to bond and make new friends. This hostel really has the community hostel vibe where you do feel like home. All the staffs are really helpful and nice, the bedsheets are clean and I saw staffs clean the area daily. Special mention goes to host Bobby who brought fellow travellers for fishing and hotspring trail hiking, both are really fun! And to Rosey who has been extra friendly and helpful during my stay! All the best to ITH, hope that the business grows and at the same time yall bring comfort and warm to future travellers.

The hotel is very well located—right next to the Amtrak station, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, and within walking distance of the ocean.  However, overall it didn’t quite meet my expectations, and I don’t think I would choose to stay here again.

Excellent location next to train/ bus station but also quiet and safe so 5 stars. Very clean bathroom. Bedsheet could be cleaner. Reception in the morning not very friendly and impatient. Night time one was ok. Great diy breakfast.
