Cute renovated old hotel with the vintage elevator very charming. However, I booked the hotel because it was promoted as a hotel with a spa. However, it did not have a spa and recommended a spa that was several miles away. Although I think I might go back cute.

The hotel was small, but its location in an upscale area was very pleasant; the staff were also very friendly. However, I was unhappy about being charged several hundred dollars extra after checking out. I emailed them to find out it was some kind of undercharged tax. It's very unfair that the hotel undercharged me initially and then secretly deducted money from my credit card without notifying me. Breakfast was practically nonexistent – ​​just coffee, fruit, and donuts every day.

I was offered a room with a window that did not finction, next to a loud extra large resturant air-conditioning unit on the roof, and icing on the cake was the extra loud noise from the restaurant kichen window across my room window that were wash8ng glsses and dishes making noise for straight 2.5 hrs before I changed my room.

Aged. Poor finishes. Everything was crooked - floor, doors, etc. The bed was comfortable. Noisey as it's near a freeway. If you go into it thinking an antique experience you will be fine. If you are looking for Montecito elegant. Look elsewhere.

Great location. Rooms could use some updating. One thing I did not like is when taking a shower the temperature of the water would fluctuate, sometimes very hot then cold then back to normal.

The king room was very small, and the window latch didn’t even lock. The elevator is from 1930, which is fine if you can handle keeping two door doors open and get your luggage in all by yourself. On the plus side, the staff was very good, the place was very clean, it was quiet, I just don’t think they should be renting a walk-in closet as a king room.
