De la Vina Inn

We walked in and said "Wow!" We knew we had found a true gem in Santa Barbara. A beautifully restored vintage home with wood paneling, curly-cues and beautiful grounds. We sat down in the back and just sighed. Ahhh!

I like the place overall. It was lovely and the check in is super easy. They will give you a code to the inn and you can access the front door and your bedroom. The staff were friendly and helpful. One downside was that it was hard to find the right temperature for the shower. But I will stay there again.

The place is a beutiful old wooden house converted in a small hotel. It's completely automated, so there was no staff working in the lobby of the hotel, which was very creepy. The house was remodeled, but still the air was stuffy and smelled very old. I wanted to spend a few nights in beautiful Santa Barbara, and not to stay in a museum. In addition, there were no A/C controls in the room so I had to ask staff over text messages for help multiple times. It's a beautiful house to see, but not remodeled sufficiently to be a hotel I want to stay in.

Amazing place to stay. Host was easily contactable and very helpful. Even gifted us a bottle of local wine which was delicious. Highly recommend!

room is old, small, and has very bad smell, also not clean. check in was hard.
