I was completely misled by the Hyatt Centric branding; this hotel absolutely does not live up to Hyatt's usual standards. It's barely a three-star property. The corridors leading to the guest rooms were excessively long, and the carpets were quite dirty, emitting a stale, old smell.
The parking fee was an exorbitant $48 per night. There was absolutely no need for valet parking, but it was a mandatory charge with no other options available.
Our room booking explicitly included breakfast, but when we went for it, we were informed the breakfast restaurant was closed and that we would have to pay for it ourselves. How is this even acceptable?! We were then told we could order breakfast at the hotel restaurant, but only a $48 credit would be applied, and we'd have to cover the difference. Realistically, $48 is far from sufficient for ordering breakfast from the menu. Our booking confirmation clearly stated breakfast was $25 per person, and since there were three of us, after arguing extensively with the front desk, they eventually agreed to credit $75. At checkout, they promised the final bill would be emailed to me, but when I received it, only $48 had been deducted. I am utterly speechless! This is my first experience with such a dishonest and unreliable hotel in the United States.
