Tide Pool Villas

The location is wonderful but that is the only thing positive about this place. We waited 3 hours to check in and the lobby was full of others waiting too. We were scheduled to stay in a room, but upon walking in and seeing all the windows were broken, the screens were hanging half off, and the sheets on the bed were dirty. They offered us a different room, but the windows were broken in the second room as well. The room was not at all cozy, but instead had a cold feel to it. Old bedspreads, broken windows, way too much stuff in the lobby. You’re lucky to catch anyone at the check in. Requested a refund and were denied.

Would have given more stars, everything was great except for two areas. First, the food is very basic, but we had heard that and there is great dining nearby. However, we were there for two nights and NEVER received maid service, even after going to the office (across the street btw) THREE times and repeatedly being promised service. Also, parking is very limited. Great location and cute property.

Property needs to be cleaner and redecorated,curtains and bedsheets were old and needs to be updated.lobby was cluttered and disorganized. Location is good though about 1 block from the beach

The staff was great. Took a little while to find the exact receptionist area, though and when it was found, there was only one person helping out so it was a bit slow. Almost 30 minutes

The room was outdated and not as described in room description. Screens were off windows laying on patio. We attempted to put them on but they were so bent they wouldn’t stay in place. Breakfast was not worth a penny . The cereal containers were broken, the breads were stale ,the waffle irons were old and burnt. There was no fruit , yogurt choices or protein. For the price of the room in off season it was not worth it.

It was a lovely room with a nice view. Clean and comfortable. Close to everything. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Great location. Walking distance to the pier, many eateries, Moxi museum.

We found the accommodations were better than what we anticipated. It’s like a regular motel. It is an eclectic set up. If you have kids, the lobby and pool area have a lot of things out that are not kid friendly. The breakfast is limited and we didn’t see any protein. We chose to get something nearby. Communication is challenging. I don’t think they keep up on voicemail so keep calling. They do answer and were accommodating. In the room, everything was reasonably clean. The bleach smell from cleaning was too much. It did not dissipate during our stay and caused sore throats. The location is perfect for walking to the beach, pier, shopping or picking a place to eat out for any meal. We would go back to the same spot. It was awesome to have a 2-bedroom suite with a king bedroom for us and 2 queen beds for our adult kids. Our suite had a kitchen with a good sized refrigerator, stove/oven and microwave. A real plus was that they allow pets. Ultimately, we felt it was a safe property for all of us and our belongings.

DO NOT STAY!! No one in the office most of the time. Bright light in your bedroom at night. Toilet always runs. Dirty with crickets in your room. No crib for baby except one that’s filthy and smells like vomit. Won’t refund unused nights for horrible service.
