Hotel Castillo Huatulco & Beach Club

We arrived for one night after a long day. We were tired and room had to be changed due to at end first floor near road. Entertainment kept us up but did end by 11 pm Food was not great since we don’t like ioriental. Breakfast was ok but all good cold. Reservation was all inclusive Invoice said dinner Feb 10 Breakfast and lunch Feb 11. We missed lunch due to check out at 1 pm. Should not be on ********* invoice that way Sorry wouldn’t advise others of this place or come back

Rooms were Clean and the Beds were Great!! The Food specially the breakfast was good, He only had dinner once and it was medium. At the Beach club the Lunch was nice. The Location is ideal 5 mins walking to Playa Santa Cruz.

The rooms were super old. The towels were old. It was expensive for this type of room. The washroom and the beds were old too. It did not worth it.

Our room was quiet, clean and had a view of the garden area, a small balcony was included. The staff were the best part of our stay they were always smiling and happy to help from Anna at the front desk to our favourite cleaners, shuttle drivers, servers as well as the concierge. All of our inquiries were answered and any issues were immediately taken care of. The food was okay, we did not go hungry. The beach club was a nice bonus however, located on a beautiful beach swimming in the ocean was risky most days but the view was incredible including seeing whales some days. The pool was clean and relaxing and the hotel shuttle was a big bonus. The hotel location is great, walk to Santa Cruise beach or shops or a quick trip in a taxi to La Cruceta for more restaurants and shops. Don’t forget to tip the staff. At times it was difficult to get smaller bills from the front desk, we were more successful asking the servers to make change.

Over all decent. My review is very limited as I never used the beach club, and only used the restaurant for 3 breakfast meals. I used Castillo as a hub. There are way too many other options for meals, beaches, etc. to go to. The staff was nice. My room was clean. They need to change the carpet in the elevators because they are full of mould. Just climb the stairs and all is good.
