For the price of the ecohabs (114eu/night) I expected more comfort, but the ecohabs looked very great overall. Don't go to this hostel if you're looking for full relaxation, because: The acoustics of the bar area could have been designed better. If they had pointed the sound system towards the sea instead of the ecohabs, this would have been a big plus. Now, the sound system is aimed towards everything. This isn't good for people trying to catch an early night.

This hostel is stunning. The location is incredible. There are multiple cafes and restaurants on-site (there is not a kitchen to cook in however). Also, the way that the dorms are set up really warrant a great atmosphere for meeting people. Everything opens up into a main courtyard-like area that has the main bar, volleyball court, beach, and pool. Additionally, there are multiple events that go on daily that help introduce you to people. (I played volleyball everyday at 4 pm in a tournament and my team won each day so we got a free cocktail). There is also a surf school on site. They have lots of boards to rent. Unfortunately, mother nature didn't want me surfing while I was there because there were zero waves. The main negative about this hostel is the terrible wifi. They even have a place that is considered the "coworking space" and the wifi is completely unreliable. For this hostel being a place that fosters and caters to digital nomads, this is completely unacceptable. The dorms were fantastic. They are cubby style with a thick curtain for privacy. You have your own private light and wall outlet as well as a locker for your things. I got a dorm with A/C which is VERY necessary with the weather. The other cool part about the dorm was the private outdoor shower. A very nice touch to be able to shower under the stars at night. The only other comment I would say (and spoke with the gentleman at the desk about), is the reliability of the plan for the day. Because there are so many things/event allotted in the day, people expect that they are going to happen. Multiple times they would say "x is going to happen at this space at this time" and something would change, go wrong, etc. The staff at the front explained that the person who coordinated all of the events etc had just left. Honestly, you could tell. If they had a reliable person to fill that roll, this hostel would be incredible. This place has insane potential to be truly incredible. All the ingredients are there. As someone who has worked in hospitality before, it was disheartening to see small things that could be tweaked by good management to really make it a very special place. I know Viajero has a reputation and has many fanatastic locations in numerous countries. I hope this location can sort their staffing out to reach full potential. As long as you don't need to get work done/are tied to wifi, I would certainly recommend this hostel!

Bad...really bad....they lie and aren't honest with the guests. The rooms have no wifi or air conditioning!! ***! The food isn't that great! And on top of all that we canceled two nights because or Fan kept breaking down and its been a month and no refund yet!! Thiefs! I contact them every week and they say our accountant is on it, but nothing happens....please get them our of business they well ruin your vacation. STAY AWAY.

Great hostel! Super cool layout and very nice to be by the ocean and by a pool. William, Estrella, Carolina, and Lineth were all amazing. That being said, all the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, awesome experience! And yummy food.

This is much like a resort. Very big, in a beautiful location. I had a private room which was amazing, large, beautiful, secluded. The swimming pool and pool bar are great. The reception staff is great. The restaurant staff not so professional. However, this is one if the more expensive hostels and you would expect it to be much better value. The wifi is pretty bad, and hardly works in the private rooms. There are 3 options for breakfast, but for private rooms (around 600,000 COP a night!) breakfast is included and only one option! This is ridiculous. The restaurant prices are high. There was one sushi night but the sushi run out after half an hour and there was only a non vegetarian option left. The same thing happened the following night with the taco menu. The food in all is average. This hostel is good but very overrated and overpriced.

Would definitely come back to this place. The service is excellent, Pablo from the front desk went above and beyond to make our stay incredible. The wifi isn't great but then again you want to stay in a place like this to disconnect!

This is a 4 star hostel, not to be confused with a 4 star hotel. The staff is a 10. Everyone was respectful and friendly. We got a room for 6 the first two nights with a floor that had not been cleaned in days. The hot water did not work and general upkeep was deficient. The last two nights we got moved to a newer room where almost everything worked. The table lamps would not stay on and the bathroom door lock did not work. The quality and quantity of breakfast was great. Again a 10. The rest of the dishes on the menú although good in quality, I found a bit pricey. A $10,000 mediocre capuccino is expensive. The pool was small for the number of people in it. The tiles were cheap and dangerous. The temp of the water was hotter than a soup. A very cheap build. All this for a hefty price, I find is not a good value.

The room was great and a cool spot nestled within the plot, though instead of having a mosquito net solely for the bed they have opted for attempting to proof the whole room, which inevitably doesn’t work given the comings and goings of previous guests etc. The real issue with this place is the music, we arrived on a Saturday which fair enough is a party day but you could hear both music from the pool and sea hut from most places which was annoyingly conflicting and the pool Music was deafening. On Sunday, we went to the sea facing spot at 10am morning and have the barmen blast out heavy music at this time in the morning when you are enjoying the sound of the waves defeats the point of having that location. We had to steal ourselves away 200m down the beach until we couldn’t hear the base and occasional Britney Spears song. Of course many will come just to party and it’s a great spot for that, but if you also enjoy reading a book by the sea then you’ll struggle at any time of day.

Place has the most beautiful scenery but there is a lot of negatives as the price is premium for Colombia. The pool is absolutely filthy, you can’t see more than 30cm in front of you. I personally had a number of bed bites, at first thought they were mosquitoes but after visiting a pharmacy was informed not. The rooms are pretty average, basic, kind of like camping. No wifi in the room for those who need it. Service was generally poor, plus not speaking English. They encourage card payments at reception but the staff have less interest serving anybody with card. The breakfast is absolutely awful. The worst quality fried food you can imagine served with a tiny portion of eggs and bog water to drink. Other meals average at best, apart from the steak in the evening was absolutely amazing. But it’s Colombia and a remote area..
