Went here as a half way stop to bodega bay for my girl friends Mother’s Day weekend relax, and I firstly understood that as a cheaper hotel and the name “best value inn” I had little expectations, but I was still let down. For the price we got less than average service, I had to wait 20 minutes for someone to finally wake up and give me a key after ringing the door bell and having to call the front desk just to here the phone go off for a while and someone finally coming to answer. The room was less than basic. Real basic commodities like a tiny plastic cup, some soap. Basic cable. That’s Pretty much it.
I was packing the room up and getting our 2 kids ready while letting the mother of my child sleep in like she should on Mother’s Day, but after calling the front desk at 11:01am they told me I would automatically be charged another 25 dollars for staying late. For paying over 150$ we did not get anywhere close to the “best value” not even coffee made in the coffee machine after all of that. Won’t be staying or recommending this place to a soul.
